19 credit card companies - who are they?
Further to an article in one of the Sunday papers, it was said that whilst there are 100's of credit cards abound, there are only 19 credit card companies. Does anyone know who they are and which cards they support? I have looked at the Existing Customer Balance Transfer Offers Table:…

Sainsbury's reject credit balances from BTs
Sainsbury's just wrote to me with a raft of changes to their T&Cs, including this new term: "You must not transfer funds from another credit card to your account that would leave a credit balance on your account. We may return any funds that exceed the balance owing on your account from which the money has been sent."…

Sainsburys - a card too far?
Did I just push it too far? I thought the Sainsburys Platinum (0% on purchase for 12 months) would be an ideal way to SBT by stealth: purchase the premium bonds online (you can with a Visa) - and then cash in the premium bonds - and transfer to a bank - or keep them if you want a punt. Anyway - I have an Egg Green card…

2% repayments on Egg card
Hi Having just had my second DD taken on my £15k stooze on my Egg card I have noted that the amount is different to the first - it is £294 as opposed to £300. While I'm not complaining (more money to earn interest on :D ), is this the same as eveyone else's experience? I though they would take 2% per month on the amount…

Tesco deals
Not sure if this has been discussed before, but has anyone looked at the value of these? Tesco pays 0.5% of spending on the card, and you can swap them for deals vouchers at 4x the price. So 2% effectively, which could beat out any credit card, providing you want the deals they have. They've got lots of days out, like…
