First check with your travel agent or a web site about the availability of ATMs where you are staying. If they have them then click on the "Overseas Spending" link near the top of this page for the article. The best option is a Nationwide debit card if you happen to have an account with them.0

I have used Visa and Mastercard in Barbados. ATM's are available in most of the tourist area and obviously in Bridgetown.
