Hi Just wondered if anyone knows what the eligiblity criteria are for a HSBC gold visa credit card? The reason I ask (I'll try and keep this short!) is that me & my partner opened a joint current and joint savings account with HSBC last August. In the last month my partner recieved a mailing from HSBC inviting him to apply…

M&S &More Card
Currently if you open a new &More card you will generally be offered 0% on balance transfers for up to 6 months from the date the account is opened. I have heard though, if you live in the Granada region, i.e. the Northwest, if you open a new &More account, you will be offered 0% on balance transfers that are made in the…

One more card, then I'll stop!!
Just started the stoozing game. I know you're not supposed to go mad, but I'm getting all giddy at the profit possibilities after getting my first two cards approved for a total of £22.5K in the space of 2 weeks (I had secretly hoped to achieve £30K total stooze when I started). The first two cards are Egg and Virgin (the…

I have currently got a loan but in order to pay it off without paying interest, I am looking to transfer the outstanding balance onto a credit card to get the 0% transfer rate. The only problem I have noticed is that I have tried several companies but you can only transfer credit cards and not loans. Does anyone know of…

A Stoozing Query
Hi, New to stoozing and also going to give it a go. However, a quick query I would appreciate advice on: The amount I put into the high interest savings account (any tips on this, gratefully received :p !), is this the maximum credit I'm allowed from the CC company? Eg. say a CC said my credit limit was £800, is this the…

Stoozing Question
Hi, I'm after a bit of advice. I've been looking into stoozing as a way of making some extra money for a rainy day. I've applied for and got an egg card, and am just planning to start off with this card, until I know that I can trust myself to be disciplined enough to keep up with re-payments and getting new cards.…

Capital One - not the 0% but the low BT rate
Forgive me if anyone has already pointed this out, couldn't see it with a quick search and I don't usually come over here ... Watch out if you have a Capital One card with the low interest rate for life of BT. I have one, which I've never used for purchases, and I'm getting quite close to paying off the balance. I wasn't…

Overpaid on credit card
Hi This will probably seem like a silly question but.....I have cleared my balance on Tesco credit card, but my last payment was actually too much. Having looked at my credit limit it appears they have added the amount I paid too much onto my spending limit, so surely this would mean that if I spend on the card I am…
