Currently if you open a new &More card you will generally be offered 0% on balance transfers for up to 6 months from the date the account is opened.
I have heard though, if you live in the Granada region, i.e. the Northwest, if you open a new &More account, you will be offered 0% on balance transfers that are made in the 1st 60 or 90 days of the card being opened. Also you will get 0% on purchases for the 1st 9 months too.
There will be other regional offers but the Northwest one is by far the best as it is for 9 months.

Thats right, obviously working for M&S I have a knowledge of whats happening. Basically M&S are looking into other ways to encourage new applicants instead of the 10% discount just for applying - therefore stopping people applying, getting the discount and never using the card.
They are therefore launching three dirrerent trials. These will take place across three regions; granada, Scotland and Wales (advertising purposes). Successful applicants in the granada region will benefit from 0% on BT and purchases for 9 months. The other two, although im not sure which trial is in which region are, earn double &more loyalty points for purchases and the other is get 10% off your first purchase. I've got a feeling that Scotland is the 10% trial and Wales is the points trial - although knowing me i've got that the wrong way around.Thought of the day - dont hold your farts in - they travel up your spine, into your brain and thats were shi**y ideas come from!0
