Late payments & experian
Hi all, Experian reports detail if you were late with a CC payment by 1 month, 2 months and 3 months. Does anybody know if you were to miss a payment by a week whether this gets noted, or does it actually have to be over a month late? Yes, you guessed it I was late. Thought the wife had paid it, she thought I had. Managed…

0% cards and supermarket cashback
I am currently within the '0% on purchases' period on my Barclaycard (so any parchases don't accrue interest). My question is, if I were to pay for my supermarket shopping on the Barclaycard and request some cashback, will I be charged interest on the cash? Can you even get cashback with credit cards, or does that only…

BARCLAYCARD LOWER APR NOW
I just started stage 1 of the Credit Card Shuffle - my extortionate 18.9 purchase APR had to go. The loyalty manager at Barclaycard told me that they were reviewing all cards (probabably due to so many people taking advantage of 0% transfers etc.) and that new APR rates are being issued in January. But here is the thing -…

SBT
MBNA say I can do a transfer to my current bank account with them to clear my overdraft. I do not have an overdraft, if I still do the transfer will it go through? I'm just thinking that if my bank says there is no overdraft then MBNA might cancel the transaction! Anyone any thoughts. Thanks.

Pot calls kettle black
The kettle in this case being the Moneynotsosupermarket website. Apparently moneynotsosupermarket claims to be an independent comparison website but all the cards mentioned in its best buy tables are issued by providers that pay a fee. It lists Citibank Platinum and Morgan Stanley Platinum as top intruductory offers of 0%…

Stoozing Beginner
Hello all, I have been reading up on 'stoozing' and have decided to give it a shot. I've had an egg card since the start but for the last 12 months have been using Amex blue due to the cashback being higher. I emailed egg asking about the anniversary offer and was told my anniversary month is January. I then immediately…

Barclaycard and Privacy
Barclaycard are unbelievable! I applied on-line for an increase in my credit limit. Barclaycard emailed me with their negative decision, including the reason why! Email is not a secure medium, so they've just breached my privacy! In the same email, they have asked for details of my travel plans - a holiday is why I asked…

Credit Limits and Credit Ratings
I just asked Barclaycard to drop my credit limit from 13k to 6k (I have about £400 on it now, but intend using the spare capacity for a super balance transfer when the £400 is paid). I also asked Mint to drop my limit from 6.9k to 2k. I did this because I suspect these high limits have stopped Cahoot and Northern Rock…
