BARCLAYCARD LOWER APR NOW

I just started stage 1 of the Credit Card Shuffle - my extortionate 18.9 purchase APR had to go. The loyalty manager at Barclaycard told me that they were reviewing all cards (probabably due to so many people taking advantage of 0% transfers etc.) and that new APR rates are being issued in January. But here is the thing - She instantly lowered mine to 11.9% effective immediately. I hardly had to say a word. I was expecting a game of hardball and to come out of it with 15.9%. Even if they do lower everyone's rate at the end of January I've still saved a good amount on getting it 1 month early. What a good way to start the week!
