in Credit cards
Hi everybody..
Does anybody have all these cards at the same time?Since they are all administered by MBNA, MBNA may be reluctant to approve all these cards to the same person? I might be wrong but just being curios?

I don't personally but there are other posters here that definitely have several MBNA cards at the same time.
I believe that MBNA come up with an overall credit limit across all the MBNA-related cards and you can distribute this limit across each of the cards accordingly.
For instance, let's say that you have a Virgin card with a £10,000 limit where the 0% deal has just expired. You then decide to apply for a A&L card but MBNA offer you just a £1000 limit. I believe that it is possible to reduce the limit on the Virgin card to, say, £1000 and increase the A&L limit to £10,000 - giving you another £10,000 to BT.Mortgage Feb 2001 - £129,000
Mortgage July 2007 - £0
Original Mortgage Termination Date - Nov 2018
Mortgage Interest saved - £63790.60
ISA Profit since Jan 1st 2015 - 98.2% (updated 1 Dec 2020)0 -
Yes this is how it worked in my experience0

How come you only have to repay 0.2% of the balance each month instead of the usual 2%? I have an abbey card but I assume it is the same for all their other cards...

Thanks for your reply to my first ever post. Didn't realise that was the deal - the repayments did seem quite low!0
