Who pays for the prizes?
Just wondered if anyone can answer this question: When you have a competition in a newspaper or a magazine and the prize is say a holiday or something from a particular shop, who pays for the prize - is it the newspaper or the holiday company/shop, etc?

Is it just me or does this annoy anyone else?
I enter a comp, get a call from the promoter which starts with "you entered a competition recently ......" Heart starts pounding, you hold your breath & wait to hear what you have won and they say...."you didn't win but as a thank you we'd like to offer you a discount" 😡 I find it worse than a LEM :mad:
