Now I have mentioned this before but it is now getting worse.
My newsfeed is very sparse of updated. I have it set to "Most Recent" and have noticed over the last few week that lots of posts are not showing up, mainly from companies I follow. I have also checked the "pages feed" as well.
Just home for my lunch and checked my newsfeed and since this morning there have only been about 10 stories appearing when normally it takes half my lunch hour to read it  I have about 1000 likes as well
For example when I search for certain companies I like I can see there have been quite a few posts but for some strange reason they are not always showing up on my newsfeed.
Does anyone else suffer this and is there a way to resolve this?
Thanks

You need to click on the Like button of the companies you've liked and check on your settings. You may be set to only receive occasional stories from them rather than most or all.0

I have the same problem and I have all companies set to "all updates".2019 Wins

Thanks for the replies. I have checked my settings and all mine too are set to "all updates"
Time for a complaint to FB me thinks which will probably get lost in cyberworld somewhere. It is really annoying thoughThe best things in life are free.....0 -
Just been to check my newsfeed. 11 new stories since lunch time :mad:The best things in life are free.....0

As well as having each individual page set to show you all updates, is the setting on your newsfeed set to "Most recent" and not "Top stories"?0

Yes, it does occasionally change itself to "top stories" but I always change it back to "most recent"
Funnily enough my hubby says he has noticed a similar thing with his facebook so maybe yet another facebook problem. The best things in life are free.....0 -
Looking into this a bit further it seems this problem has been going on for a while as I have found a Facebook Forum help page with posts from 6 months ago with this same problem.
I have just checked a few companies I like and when I hover under the "liked" button the only options I get are:
"Get notifications"
"Add to Interests Lists"
"Unlike"
It seems the "show in newsfeed" option has disappeared. Just got hubby to check his and it is not there for him neither.
Anyone any idea where this option is now?The best things in life are free.....0 -
On mine it's still there, I just checked on Pringles.
It's above the "Add to Interests Lists", so if yours is missing, there must be something going wrong!0 -
Well that's really weird. I have checked quite a few pages and hovering over the "liked" button the only options are the three I have listed above? It definitely used to be there because I remember checking it before when I first realised this problem.
Sent off a report to Facebook but don't hold out much hope. I really hate FB at times as it always seems to not want to be my friend and really annoy me!The best things in life are free.....0 -
I've found another way to access it, I don't know if it'll show there for you if it doesn't work the usual way.
- Go to your own timeline page.
- Hover over "More" (under your cover picture) and then select "Likes"
- Click on "Other likes"
- All the pages I 'like' are now shown as large tiles. If I hover on one, a "Liked" box appears, and I have the same options as through the other route, including "Show in news feed"
I don't suppose you'll have it there if it isn't on the individual pages, but I thought it was worth a check.0
