Curve Card
I don't know if this is the right forum group for this. Is getting a curve card worth it? What benefits have you had from using it? What are the problems you have faced? This is also a very odd question, but what envelope did the card come in? Was it a plain white one or did it have the curve logo on it?

£70k. Which bank?
I'm about to receive around £70k and want to put it somewhere before I decide what to do with it. I may need fairly quick access. I realise interest rates are rubbish. I just want to put it somewhere for maybe did - twelve months while I work out my investment strategy.

Face payments - Pay using your face?
The future is now, while this may be safer (I assume) and prevent fraud, at the same time it is a privacy nightmare. I will be avoiding it. Who is going to be the first to sign up? I predict Barclays or the digital banks will be the first to take it up.

Mobile phone for banking purposes
Sorry if this is the wrong forum - wasn't sure if this question should go here or on the 'mobiles' forum.I've never had a mobile phone and know very little about them, only ever had a landline phone. However, I'm increasingly finding I'm prevented from opening bank accounts paying interest/rewards because the application…

Virgin money £180 wine "bribe"
Hello I notice MSE says it can't verify the the value of Virgins offer as its an exclusive Virgin Wines case. I have just done the switch and got the wine so I thought it might be helpful to others to value it? I used the the Vivino app which was able to give an average retail price for 14 of the 15 bottles. The average…

Bank opening hours during this lockdown
Why can banks not stagger their hours instead of just opening the same hours during the week? Those who arrived at this decision should give themselves a head wobble imo.

Anyone have issues logging into Nationwide online banking using passcode/OTP?
Apparently its not working, despite entering the correct passcode and OTP. Was locked out earlier for 30 mins so tried again but keeping getting the message that I've entered incorrect details which is definitely not the case. Bizarrely it ALWAYS asks for 1st-3rd-5th digits from my 6 digit passcode. Anyone else seeing the…

Google Pay/Apple Pay/Samsung Pay
Does anyone use any of these services? I use google pay, and i use it online mostly. I had made a payment via google pay the other day and it was near £50. It was declined. I spoke to the bank and they said it was because it was over the £45 limit. I was under the impression that was only for contactless and not online. I…

Bank with web site, mobile web app, and no proprietary authentication device.
SSIA really. I'm looking for a bank that: 1. Has a fully featured web app/site. 2. The web app/site works for mobile. 3. The bank does not require the use of a proprietary authentication device, like a card reader or pin code generator. 4. Ideally, it should have a high street branch. I just switched away from Monzo due to…
