When exactly do Santander pay the £100 switching bonus?
Do they follow their T&C's on this, i.e. as per:- "£100 will be paid into your new account within 3 months of account opening providing you have at least one active direct debit (paid at least once) set up on the account within 11 weeks and have paid in at least £1,000 each month. If you do not have any direct debits to…

How much do you live on per year?
What is your annual expenditure? I'm not asking what your income is ....someone earning £50k might be only spending £15k per annum therefore managing to save £35k a year or someone earning £15k might be spending £25k per annum and getting more and more into debt. I was just wondering how much (or how little) MSEers and…

Or is it better to just call the bank and…

Switching to Santander high interest current account...
If you open this account, is there any requirement to use it as your 'proper' current account, other than paying in the £1000/month? i.e., could I open it but keep my salary being paid into my existing account and immediately pay £1000 of it into the Santander account? Would that satisfy the requirements for 'switching' my…
