When exactly do Santander pay the £100 switching bonus?

Do they follow their T&C's on this, i.e. as per:-
"£100 will be paid into your new account within 3 months of account opening providing you have at least one active direct debit (paid at least once) set up on the account within 11 weeks and have paid in at least £1,000 each month. If you do not have any direct debits to switch you will not receive £100. Limit of one £100 switcher account per person. Offer is limited and may be withdrawn at any time."

Yes I got mine straight away, but if you haven't already done it I wouldn't bother. Not worth the hastle. Their website is crap and their customer service non existent.0

I'm already 2.5 months since I opened the account - been funding it timely, and have had 1 transferred direct debit operating actively too. Just wondering if I'll actually get my £100 incentive in the next 0.5 months as per their T&C's, or whether the norm (as Party Animal says) is to get that pretty much straight away upon account opening, whereby I may have been 'missed out' for whatever reason.0

When I opened my Prefrred in Cradit Rate current a/c i was told that i can not get £100 because I do not use transfer Switching service.
They asked that we need close other a/c and divert all SO and DD ?
Could people confirm that even you do not use transfer service, you will still get £100 ?
Thank you

The £100 is to be paid during month 3 (the official line is 'within 3 months'). Hope that helps.0 -
Yes, that it is very helpful. So it is clear now, I shall not expect £100.00 come to my new PICR a/c
it is fair enough as they have informed me about this. But I still benefit from the high interest rate up to £2500
Thank you

You also can't close the original account as anyone who has had a Santander account closed less than 3 months does not qualify either.

I have been wondering where my £100 has got to too!!!
I have been with Santander for the past 2 months and still nothing. I will give them the whole 3 months to pay up and if I don't get anything I think I will just write a letter of complaint with everything they messed up on the account setup, poor customer service and not receiving the £100!!!0 -
Just wondering what date in the month does Santander pay the interest for this account? I'm still waiting!0

Received my £100 incentive this morning, almost the full 3 months after I opened the account!0

Received mine today, 1.5months after opening. Not bad. Have had no problems with them so far, despite the 'dreadful customer service' reports that are talked about.
Saying that, I never need to call them really so perhaps I will in future!0
