Lloyd's TSB: Under 19's - Electron or not?
Hi all, Yesterday I went and opened an Under 19's current account with Lloyd's TSB as I'd seen many forum posts claiming it was the best bank account of it's sort, particularly because it offered a full Visa Debit card rather than a Visa Electron. But while filling out the form I noticed that the card options only asked…

What difference does the amount of a cheque have to paying in
I have a One Account which is part of the Royal Bank of Scotland. Normally if I have a cheque to pay in, I stick it in the freepay envelope and mail it. It saves the hassle of going to the bank. I have in the past, paid in at a Nat West Bank, part of RBS, if I wanted to ensure that I get a cashier's stamp to confirm the…

How long should Maestro Number be?
Hey. I have a Yorkshire Bank Maestro Card. I have just noticed that it has 19 digits for the card number compared to the usual 16. Is this normal? Normally I wouldn't be bothered, but one website I used recently had a character limit and I couldnt enter all the digits from my card. I was just wondering whether this was…

Just opened this account recently and deposited £501. Just wondering is the interest paid annually or monthly on the premier direct current account? I previously was with the Halifax and its paid interest on the balance at the end of every month so thought Alliance Leicester would be the same. Can anyone clarify. Thanks
