Virgin Broadband, phone and mobile bundle expensive
I'm actually quite happy with the service from Virgin and the Bband speed is acceptable but we're paying (after a few landline calls) nearly £50 / month which seems a bit high, I telephoned to try and get some reduction but didn't really get anywhere, should I just move providers ? - any advice very welcome ... I am busy applying for a job working from home and if lucky to get the job which is almost certain as I can offer a second language I will need a static ip address. I have been informed that it can be set up without paying extra and without having to switch companies. I am at the moment with Sky and have all three packages…

Orange free broadband - call for written evidence
Hi all, Just to let you know we're still looking into this, although we're struggling to collate any written evidence stating that broadband was either 'free for life', or that it would last for the entire length of a mobile phone contract every time a mobile phone was upgraded. If you do have anything, please let me know…

Can I claim for BT failing to turn up?
I'm a student at University so having internet access is basically vital. Me and my housemates decided over summer to go with BT as an ISP as we assumed although we would be paying more, we would get a better and more reliable service. They said they were only able to install a line into the house though on the 25th of…

Best/fastest broadband for me?
I'm currently with Sky for broadband and I'm sick of all the trouble I've had with them. Been with them about 4 years and ended up on the top package. I know it's rare you get the speed you pay for, but this is rediculous. Pay for 20meg, usually get about 2meg but right now getting about 0.5meg. Whenever I complain they…
