I'm currently paying £27.29 monthly fee for my line rental, internet access and anytime phone plan with talktalk. I was given a call today to renew my contract. They said it would be a 24 month contract which seemed rather cheeky, given they'd already given me an 18 month one where most providers give 12 months--AND they…

Will switching from BT to Sky get a faster broadband?
I'm currently in a rural area with BT, I pay for 'up to 8Mb' but actual speed is more like 1.5Mb according to online speed checkers. VM 20Mbps customers get "free" upgrade to 30Mbps
As title although there is a one-off £30 charge for a new Superhub to replace the modem. If you are on a good retentions deal it could cost more each month too. If you are an advanced user you should note that the Superhub is lacking in features one of which is bridge mode so you can only use your own router with it…

We spend a long time trying to get broadband (BT failed, Talk Talk took a month to fail) Finally we went with Sky, they also messed up. We have a rental cottage and incurred three occasions in 12 months where we have exceeded the 10GB download limit for BT Broadband Option 1.
