Inheritance
Hi all, Just wondering if anyone has been allowed to keep any of their inheritance that they became entitled to during BR but didn't become aware of until after discharge. I know this has been discussed a lot at length lately, but just wondered if anyone with experience of this could comment? Eg. If you were left approx…

I was declared bankrupt at the beginning of 2005 but was discharged in November that year. Inheritance
Looking at the 6.28 form, question 3.18 asks if you have any property or sums due to you under a will or trust. My Mum, who is in good health, has me named as one of the beneficiaries of her will, and one of my Uncles may well do too. Is the OR required to know this, or does it refer to assets that are due to be…

Life after bankruptcy?

In the last 3 months we have been unable to pay the garage bill, pay for our car (now repossessed), have had a house repossessed (rental investment and expecting huge shortfall bill), pay bills, nor buy food - the point where we…

Can I still Pay My Pension during BR
I have a works pension, HMRC approved scheme. I therefore understand that it won't form part of my estate when I go BR. However, can I still pay my contributions each month before surplus income is assessed? It comes out at source before I get my take home pay. I'd really like to keep it going for obvious reasons. Thanks GU
