IVA Failure - what next?
Due to a change in circumstances my family will need to move house in the near future. We plan to rent out the current property as it is in negative equity and rent elsewhere (albeit at a higher cost) as we need to be near London. The result of this change will mean that we will no longer have any surplus income at all so…

After the 6 years?
I really wish I’d found this board when I was going through my BR 4 years ago as the non-judgemental support and help people are given is fantastic, but sadly I didn’t and I ‘suffered’ those dark shameful days on my own... ....but I did discover you all 18 months ago, and in that time based on the advice I’ve found here,…

What will the OR say to spending credit on education pre-BR?
I am due to go bankrupt when my remaining credit runs out, I have about £3000 left on a credit card. My only concern is what will the OR say if there is a cheque for £2000 paid out shortly before my BR application that paid for a training course? I read something about a BRO if you gamble/waste/take out a loan right before…

Court fees have gone up
Court fees have gone up I rang the court today, they advised me it is £625 each to go BR. Court fees have gone up last week to £175 + £450 towards the OR costs. For info, not seen this elsewhere. Insolvency site still says £150 court fees.

Windfall
Iv'e not had one but was wondering what amount was classed as a windfall. If someone gives you £50 for your birthday for eg. is this a windfall that has to be given to your IVA/BR if not what is the highest amount not classed. On the other hand if someone was to give you £2000 to 'help you out' no doubt this would. SB
