Anyone been theatened with a "Field Officer?"

Quick recap is that i am going to let my house get repossessed then going for Bankruptcy, i had to stop paying my IVA and the creditors have just been informed recently so i am expecting plenty of calls and letters.

I got a letter from the bank that i have my mortgage with and they are now threatening to send out a field officer to my house, has anyone had this happen or is this just the process of the journey of getting repossessed by getting threatening letters?

I live in Northern Ireland so i know bailiffs will not be knocking at the door!!

Any thoughts on this?

its also ilegal for them to visit you unless you have made an appointment which you have consented to,there is case law somewher on this forum if i remember.I used it on more than 4 occasions and worked everytime. If you are going br dont tell em nothing you have no obligation to let the official receiver earn their money.

I was once threatened with some field artillary, I had the rest of 7th armoured brigade with me though so wasn't overly worried.

They are not allowed to harass or bully you also they have to have your permission to call at your house, if they continue to call tell them you are recording the call and to please stop calling request they put everything in witting, failure to do so will result in you reporting them to the appropriate authority. They have to take you to court and have an order against you to enforce any sort of house call. Ask for the persons name for your records.
If you woke up this morning congratulations, you have another chance :j
