Just a v quick post (came on here to find fat photos of me to show OH!) to say well done to rachel for getting under the 10 - fabulous news!, hello again to cheeky and I've forgotten all the rest I was going to write cos it's all on Lose Weight 7! Oh yes ... I like the pink jacket idea honey, it sounds ace! I have a casino night coming up soon and we're supposed to dress 50s and I've been dreading it, but a wig might be a great start ... so thanks for the inspiration.

Happy losing people - I won't mention what I've eaten today because all the effort I put in until 7pm was negated by having a gorgeous big dinner cooked for me by my mum ... but it was lush!

  • lo everyone! thanks for advice on the nando's consultant - i've dropped it down to 10 synsnow. and i'm going back for more yogurt later this week! just weighed in at the gym. I gained a bit last week( richly deserved) and thought i'd lost 0.4kg. Jsut entered my weight on bodyoptimise and it was 1.4kg. Slimming World rules!
  • Back again.....

Thanks for the new thread Cheeky, I was wondering when someone was going to decide 104 pages was too long.
Despite my best efforts, with DS being unwell and running around like a mad woman - I didn't stick to my plan today and my tummy is telling me about it tonight. I have to say, any stay at home mum's out there doing the school run are saints! How do you do it?

Thanks for the sucess express menu Consultant31. I've only got the chance to look at it this evening. Must give it a go soon.

For those of you who are on SW and looking for soup recipies, you should try the 100 free green and red recipie books. I think they're only £2.50 at your sw class. I'm going to give the minestrone a go. If it works out I'll let you know.

Back to day 1 tomorrow. (Good thinking Lois - Batman). I think I'll be off work for the next few days looking after DS. (oh well, at least I won't have to work on my b'day)

Well done on the weightlosses and maintains this week. I'm trying to shake off my post holiday weakness. I'm off to have a cup of peppermint tea and go to bed.
Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.
Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.

    Good morning all!

I felt I must post on the shiny new thread, but I can't remember what I was going to refer to on the No. 7, so I may as well buzz off :o

Honey, the sticky-out skirt would be my choice, very feminine. Didn't she wear ankle socks with stilettos, it's donkeys years since I saw that film?

Delly, I'm sorry you're not feeling too well, hope you (and DS) pick up soon.

Loopy :A you deserve a halo!!
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

Morning All, nice to see a nice new thread makes it easier to find things. Glad I am not the only one struggling with temptation and nice desserts.

Did go to the Gym for 2 hours last night first time in 3 weeks so nice. Unfortunately my Body Balance Class had been moved to 7.30 and I got there ready for the 5.30 one so had to do Spinning which was good.

Bad day yesterday not food wise but took cat to vet for booster and they told me her has a heart murmur. He is 10 1/2 but he is our baby (no kids). Will cost £200 for Cardio scan but next door who is a vet said that is OTT so will cancel and leave it for now as he seems fit as a fiddle. Working from home today but away tonight and most of next week so will miss you all lots. Must try to get WiFI like Racheal as I can log in when I am away. Mine won't be as glamourous as hers as I shall be in Cornwall and Devon next week. Take care all.

  • Hello,

I've just joined Slimming World this week, previously been a Weight Watcher and lost 5 stone on that programme however after a family bereavement last year I lost all interest and began putting weight back on. Anyway I tried going back to WW but couldn't get back into it so I decided to have a change and have joined Slimming World. I'm wanting to lose another couple of stone, hopefully I'll get there!

Going to have a look through all the receipes, I'm a little confused about it at the moment - for instance I like those lowfat New York bagels. 2 1/2 points on WW but haven't got a clue how I work them on SW.
