    Hello again.
Sorry for not posting much this week - had some domestic issues (OH) to deal with and have not had the time or inclination. Had a really bad day on Thursday - drank almost a bottle of wine had 2 pks of crisps, jaffa cakes etc (all comfort eating that I don't normally do).
Have decided that I'm starting again today as I don't want to fall down the slippery slope again. Got up early and took the dog for an hour long walk in the park as the sun came up - helped to clear my thoughts actually - and then went to Aldi (haven't done this before) and bought lots of fruit and veg.
Popped into town and resisted the cake shop - feeling sorry for myself so that's a minor victory in itself!

As I have the house to myself for the weekend I'm going to clean it from top to bottom and try to chill out a bit.

Hope everyone has a good day.
    Take care

Hi all. Just a flying visit, got to go look for a new washer, mine's just conked out. Then got to go with DD1 and pick up a rabbit hutch. Didn't get home from work till 1.30 so it's a bit hectic.

Mariel, you're doing well and I'm sure when you do decide to give it your all, you'll do even better. At least you're enjoying what you eat and making healthy choices - well done!

Myrtle that hairdresser of yours is exceptional - does she charge to cover what she provides? I should think there must be a queue a mile long every day :rotfl:

(((hugs))) for Rachel, you sound really fed-up. I hope things improve soon and well done on resisting the cake shop :T

I hate house work, which, come to think of it, is why I offered to fetch the rabbit hutch :D so if any of you energetic ladies want a job to do after you've finished your own.......................................;)
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

Ow, I forgot to weigh myself this morning.
Not on purpose, really. I've got a sore throat and slept near to nothing last night. So I got up really late. But I've just gone to see and I definitely lost at least one more pound. Not bad at all!
The only problem is I can't go shopping today and my fridge is quite empty. On the other hand, I've got a lettuce, some frozen vegs & fruit, and quorn, so I might be doing some interesting, yummy dishes.
And I have a load of housework to do (I hate it too, we should open a club) and I still haven't finished unpacking. Bah. That can wait until I find my brain again.
Oh, I'm getting hungry now. I'm off to cook some rice & lemsip.

My day was quite good yesterday - tried to stay on track but had a bag of Maltesers that sneaked into my hand as I paid for my lottery ticket ( and no I didn't win a penny - I only buy tickets when its a massive rollover - daft I know!) I did walk to the shop though!

Have taken the dog for an hour long walk this morning and even joined in a bit with the running around - its a nice day here in Manchester again.
Have my second load of washing in and and the first on the line. Popping to Tesco in a bit to get dog food etc and will try to resist although still feeling a bit fed up - OH problems are still not resolved.

Just a bit of hoovering left to do upstairs and then the whole house is superclean. At least I've acheived something this weekend!

Hope everyone has a good day - and those that are under the weather GET WELL SOON!

:T Morning, Hope your all ok, my apologies for not posting, think I mentioned in an eariler post not feeling top of the world at the moment. Nothing has happened but just strggling to stay on track at the moment. Fell right of the wagon on Friday when my children came down, it was the son's birthday (ok a week late, but when I saw him next :) ) went to Pizza Hut and caved pretty quickly.

I think I havent planned properly for the last week, never got the shops so never had much in the fridge. So I am heading to the shops today to stock up again.

Played what could be my last rugby match till the new year yesterday, good game, lost though, middle daughter was impressed I was running :rotfl: Shame the opposition 'abused' the subs rule, long story but we used 3 and they used 6 including a new front row! Not like they needed to, they would have won anyway!

    Anyway moan over, sorry.

Weighed myself Friday, as down Chertsey tomorrow, nightmare drive ahead :( anyways down 2lb for the week and after a discussion with my eldest I would like to reset the target for a stone to lose by Christmas, It seems I have a little black dress in my wardrobe that needs wearing :T

Welcome back Jenpoptab and Madauri Hope you had a good time away. Im away next Saturday, kids all excited already!

Madauri, did you catch Terry Prachett on Radio 5 Thursday, think he was talking about Wintersmith? Think that was the one you like isnt it? Hope your feeling a little better today. Rice and Lemsip? now thats a mxture :o

Rachelmk, well done on the cleaning, I could do with some help in cleaning my house? Hope the malteasers were yummy! I hope the problems soon resolve themselves. Big Hugs :grouphug:

Nothing wrong with the occassional treat Katiepoppycat, Nando's is nice :) my brother is a manager of one of the stores, Chicken is never that bad (just that the skin isn't) but I have to admit I am partial to the peri peri nuts.

Loopy-loo another one cleaning, good method to your madness cant eat while busy! Im slowly getting the study redone, but took the shelves down to discover the wall isnt good enough to paint, needs skimming by the looks of things

Time to go shopping, Hope you all ok and those with colds and / or sniffles (Consultant) are feeling better soon, and looking forward to the week ahead.

    keep smiling!
