Hi all
Sorry I haven't logged in for a few days, I have had my head down studying. I'm going to relax and walk the dogs now and will read everyones news of the last few days, tonight. I just wanted to report in early for the chart Lois does, that I lost a pound. At this time of year (exams) I usually pile on about a stone, so thanks for all your posts that kept me going.
Consultant, your frozen cheese idea was great as I didn't touch it (couldn't wait for it to thaw), but I'll be honest and admit that I have lived on cream scones, pringles and shortbreads for the past 4 days - until yesterday when I just wanted to eat bread and cucumber for some strange reason. I have joined in the healthy eating today and have already removed (read as burned) all the study books of the little trampoline ready for a bounce at 6.30 tonight when ITT is on.RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.

:rotfl: I hadn't thought of that!
Actually, it's because I washed my hair and did not blow dry it. It sounds ridiculous, but I catch a cold virtually every time I do that. I should have learnt the lesson by now  I'm getting better, last night I even slept, so the lemsip rice must be working.
Thanks for the info, Suggs, I didn't know. I listen little to the radio - maybe I should switch it on more often. Yes, Wintersmith is his last one, I got it fresh from the press right before leaving and finished it yesterday. It's brilliant, of course.
Missmoneypenny, that cucumber thing sounds cool, I mean that is a healthy mood! I once felt like eating carrot and took a really large one and ate it all in one go, raw, in a minute. I wish I knew why, especially because I dislike raw carrot very much. Oh, the thought of having such desires instead of chocolate cravings...
Myrtle, don't worry too much about your excesses and concentrate on something else so that you have less time to eat and more to have fun'They can tak' oour lives but they cannae tak' oour troousers!'The Nac Mac Feegle0 -
I maintained  Not a bit happy. I wanted to lose the 2lb I had gained. I have one more weigh in before my birthday (although its almost 2 weeks but with the way weigh in falls). I had sooo wanted to lose more by then. To be at my own target (not SW one) I need to lose another 7lb by my birthday. Guess thats not happening then
I am going to try 100% this week to do it by the book. Couldn't stay to class as I had DS and DD with me (both of whom are loaded with the cold, DD has chest infection) I did manage to get a food diary so I am going to write it all down. Heading out for a walk at 8pm with my friend. We were meant to go to Pilates but although I like it, it doesnt burn any fat, its all toning. I intend to do my new fitness DVD every day this week too, so fingers crossed for a loss next week.
Alyssa, read you poat about the popcorn earlier so bought a packet to try. Thanks for the tip!
Hope everyone else's weigh in went ok0 -
Honey - don't be so hard on yourself. Be good this week and it'll show next week.
I'm the opposite (shame on me). I'm in the "I don't care mode". Going on hols on Saturday (AI) and can't see the point in being good now until we return so I'm sitting here scoffing a packet (family) of Revels.
I'm angry with myself already but just can't stop!!!!!!!!!!!!
Where's that bootI haven't got one!0 -

Glad the cheese worked for you (it's good grated, then frozen) but you know what you have to do with the scones and shortbread don't you??:rotfl:
Chin up Honey, it'll happen if you stick with it! Sometimes there's no logic in the way the lbs come off
Thanks to Alyssa & Lois, I've told my daughter she's not too old to have the work done on her teeth. She's going to look into it after Christmas when money's not so tight! It's just a twist in her front bottom row, but she is very self-concious about it.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Will this one do?
Don't wear it out all yourself though, leave a bit for me (I'm always bound to find an excuse to use it on myself).
Sorry I didn't want to spoil the view, I realised too late the actual size :embarasse 'They can tak' oour lives but they cannae tak' oour troousers!'The Nac Mac Feegle0 -
Blood and sand - that's a big 'un. Glad it's not aiming for my behind :rotfl:I let my mind wander and it never came back!0

I didn't try it alyssa-mae as I had a clear out today and threw out the unhealthy stuff. The fridge/freezer is now full of chicken, turkey, cod and veg.
I'm trying not to think of the "d" word as I start to feel hungry. I'm eating a healthy diet...I'm eating a healthy diet...I'm eating a healthly diet.
I have just looked up "health" in my COED and it states that it is of German origin and is related to "whole". Does this mean I can have a whole wholemeal loaf?:rotfl:RENTING?
