So sorry, I forgot to say hello to Cuddles and JosieJump. It's good to have you both with us.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0

Thanks, just planning my dinner...I'm doing a green day so I'm going for homemade chips, egg (with Frylight of course) and then something like quorn burger to go with it. Just need to find out if quorn burgers a syn or free, I see quorn mince & pieces are free so are burgers ? A little trip to the Slimming world website is required I think!0
-
Some of the burgers are 1 syn and some are as little as 1/2. One type of them is free. Either way, they aren't much! I like them with SW chips and egg too. MMm, think thats on the agenda for tomorrow
HTH0 -
just had a recipe off the sw website for tea and it was gorgeous! for a red day, peel the skin off a duck breast, spread a half tablespoon of mango chutney on it, wrap it in bacon and grill or bake. mmmmm.
consultant help! I'm bored of drinking water. But what exactly is low calorie squash? there aren't any labelled ones in tesco. Should i go for no added sugar stuff? high juice? confused!
welcome to all our new members - i didn;t fancy classes so i signed up to SW online and this thread is my support group. Everyone is sooo nice!0 -
Evening all
Nice shiny new thread, and no sooner is it started than we're on page 2!
Welcome Josie, Myrtle and Cuddles - I'll post some information about the 2 pound club (weight loss that is, not coins!) in a moment, let me know if you'd like to join in.
Delly and Honey - both having birthdays in a few days, and both live in Northern Ireland - are you two twins?
TallGirl - Wifi is definitely the way forward when you're on the road a lot. If you've got a laptop it's easy to upgrade with a PCI adaptor, which will pick up on wireless networks when you're near one, but for real freedom you need an air card, which accesses the internet using WAP technology, like a mobile phone. More expensive, but you really can surf wherever you happen to be, providing there's a signal.
Can someone with access to the SW website do me a favour and look up Sainsburys fresh mashed potato, please? I've got the SW Lose Weight at Sainsbury's book, but I can't find it! I did get a shock when I saw Mashed potato with pepper and butter, at 11 syns a go, but it definitely isn't that one.

Hi all
The 2 pound weight loss club is for people who want to set themselves interim goals rather than being demotivated by the thought of having a large amount of weight to lose. Members aim to lose 2lbs each week (or month if it suits them better), but there are no consequences if this isn't achieved - I won't bash anyone over the head, but Cheekymole will give you a boot up the bum if you want one!
I keep a chart with all the members, their result and their weight loss so far, which I update and post every Monday evening. If you attend a slimming class, just post your weight loss on whatever day you go and I'll pick it up for the next update. If you're going it alone, set Monday as your regular weigh in day and post your results and I'll include them.
I can also include an interim target - for example, many of us are aiming to lose half a stone by 5th February - and show how close you are to achieving it.
No need to reveal your actual weight (unless you want to) and I don't need any evidence - there's no point in cheating, you'd only be cheating yourself!
The current chart is here. If you want to join, you can send me an email or a PM, or just post on this thread.
Good luck

My birthday isnt until the end of the month, I think Delly celebrates hers in the next few days. What date is it Delly???
Flip, I dont know how you lot get the peace to do your workout dvd's. I put mine on about an hour ago, parents called in for 10mins. Put it on again once they left and DS got up out of bed to see what the commotion was! Back to bed with him, unpause and the flippin' phone rang. Got rid of them and then DD needed a drink. Put her back to bed and my mobile rang. Typical, I can go for nights without the phone ringing at all  I have given up until they have both gone to sleep properly. I'm knackered before I have even started it :rotfl:0 -

Katie
I think ( or rather, I hope) that the low sugar is the same as the low calorie stuff cos I drink it day in day out, thinking its free  Will look up on SW website and report back.
Edit: Yip, confirmed, its FREE
Squash, No Added Sugar, all varieties, diluted as directed 100ml
Original Free Green Free
The high juice, No added sugar is 1/2 syn, all varities on both days (for 75ml undiluted serving). The ordinary one (not reduced sugar is 7 syns per glass  )
HTH - Consultant, sorry for answering on your behalf0 -
Honey - thanks for that. I was hoping it would be free or nearly free, on green, but it does have butter and milk in it. Good job I've had a syn free day otherwise!
