Hi All MSE Slimmers
The old Lose Weight Thread 5 was getting rather long (88 pages!!) so Pink has allowed me to start this new one. I hope that I'm not stepping on anyone's toes - Sorry if I am
You can still access the old thread HERE although it will be locked shortly.
We are a friendly bunch, all with the same aim - to lose weight! There are many slimming plans being followed on here - SW, WW, Low Carb, Atkins to name a few so you will always find someone who is able to help out. Above all we are all here to offer support and motivation to each other.
Please do drop in to weigh in, cry on someones shoulder, offer advice, share new recipes, share success....
All welcome and Good Luck to everyone.
Edited to add:
Over on the Old Style Forum we have a recipe collection, called Losing Weight Recipes Collection (funnily enough!
) Hopefully you will find something here that suits your weight loss plan. Please do add more recipes to build up the collection. Here's a quick link to it LOSING WEIGHT RECIPES COLLECTION Enjoy
Cheekymole has very kindly offered to index the recipes in the losing weight recipes thread to make them easier for everyone to find. To go to the index click here

AFAIK you can still look through it but you just can add any comments to the end of it!Official DFW Nerd 2100 -
That's right Rachie - as far As I know it will be read-only.
As for veggie recipes, do you like/use quorn mince? Its free on SW on both days. I make spag bol with it, using a tin of tomatoes. Kids eat it too. Sometimes i make it into chilli.
Did you try the baked bean pie - its soo easy. Slice potatoes and par boil. layer tin of baked beans in casserole dish with layer of potatoes, sprinkle some greated cheese from allowance on top and bake in oven. You could serve this with quorn sausages (I had it with a small piece of fish). My DS loved it!0 -
Hi Cotsvale, I can't do the Mix2 thingy because I'm veggie but I'm sure it works (or so I'm told)I haven't got one!0

Keep your chin up Cots, it will come off but apparently always harder the 2nd time ( I can vouch for that)
Over on Lose Weight 5 I explained what my consultant had said this week - she said to only use the free foods from the food optimisong booklet for a quicker weight loss - I'm going to try it this week so will let you know if it really works.I haven't got one!0
