Its quite a sweet wine, it is a German Riesling I believe so if that means anything to you it should give you an idea?? The points show on the SW website as 4 syns per 125ml glass (or 1 WW point if you are doing WW) - I am not sure how that compares to normal wine tho??

I feel really strange at the moment, like my stomach is getting bigger and bigger by the day! Surely that cannot be the case, maybe its cos i am eating healthier and its turning to stodge rather than lard before it all comes off?? LOL

It's just your bog standard tin of beans that are free on green

125ml dry white white is 4 syns but if you add diet lemonade to make a spritzer you could have a large one.

flis - 1/2lb in the right direction, don't be too disheartened

Rachie - if the scales show heavier at points during the day, how is that motivating?

Its motivating I spose cos I stull need to lose about 2 stone or more so I can see the reality of what I weigh (give or take a few punds) as I think I was in denial about the real weight.... they only change by a couple of pounds so at least I know I still need to lose two stone whether it says 12st 6oz or 12st 4oz if you know what I mean? Also I am just going to write down in my book when I weigh myself once a week at the same time in the same spot - I am going to use last nights reading at 7pm (which was the first one I did) so will write down next Tuesday at 7pm... oh no, there is a flaw in that plan, I am usually out on Tuesdays at 7pm so will have to weigh again tonight at 7pm and then every wednesday!?? LOL! I can't afford to go to classes and it would be a pain to get into a boots store and not really fond of the idea of going to my surgery and dragging the kids along every week so this is the best plan i can think of??

    Hi Rachie

As i go to meetings i get weighed there
But i can understand with classes, boots, doctors etc
I was paying at my meeting but 3 weeks ago they asked if i would help and as im a helper i dont have to pay which is a bonus
My advice to you would be weigh yourself first thing in the morning after you go to the loo
And make sure you put your scales on hard flooring as carpets are not level enough
Only weigh yourself once a week because i used to weigh myself 3-4 times a week before ww and when it showed 1 day i had put on a pound i felt like crying because i had been good but a couple of days later i had lost that so it changes all the time
My sister goes to SW but always weighs herself at mine before her class(ive told her not to bother lol)
she weighed herself on the carpet at first then on my laminate flooring and it was different and when she went to class she was the same as when she weighed herself at mine on the laminate flooring
Try to wear the same clothes on the day you decide is your "weigh in" day because that makes a difference
    I hope that helps

I've lost 10lb in 6 weeks hooray! Unfortunately I've just eaten most of a chocolate Lindt easter bunny!
But my reasoning is that this time I'm doing it not to be a size 8 again but to be fit and healthy with my toddler as my motivating factor! So if a 'diet' can't include an easter egg (or bunny) over easter and a few treats at Christmas then life isnt worth living!!
    Happy Eastertime!
