Bournville MOT between Blaina and Abertillery. They only do tests, no repairs and are absolutely sound.

Default Caerphilly Borough Test Centre Tir-y-Berth

You cant wipe the smile off my face at the moment. My V reg Ford Focus just passed mot at this centre, only cost £35. If it failed would have cost additional £16.50. Only tests no repairs.

I have used P&T Autos in Skewen for the last 7 years. Even though I moved 20 miles out of the area last year I still use them because they don't look for any extra work, maybe because they are always very busy. The MOT costs £50, which I suppose isn't especially cheap but any repairs or servicing work that needs doing is usually cheaper than any garage I have used before. Also I don't know much about cars, so having a garage I can trust is a big bonus for me.

The Bodelwyddan centre is good - it's listed under Denbyshire though, not Denbighshire.

i see that Evans Helshaw at the Croesfoel park off junction 3 of the A483, Rhostyllen (Wrexham) had a MOT sign up last week think it was around £29 ?? for a the test ,it was enough to make me think ' oooo cheap'.

I went to dickens across the road last time was about £39.95, but they always tend to have high prices

What goes round,comes round..

so watch out

I've got mu 56 plate car booked into Kwik Fit at present - but I may cancel it & use these. Do you know if they charge for a re-test?

Any in Swansea or Carmarthenshire?

x

100 years from now, it will not matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much money I had in my bank account, nor what my clothes looked like, but the world may be a little better because I was important in the life of a child.

To answer my own question...West End garages in Llanelli town centre have offer on at moment. £29 for MOT plus no retest fee!

They are cheap at repairs too. I needed new spark plugs and leads for which Fiat quoted me £180 inc labour! West End did this, plus MOT plus a £70 part plus labour all in for £160

Labour is £25/hour plus VAT according to their receipt.

HTH
