Newport Transport (the council owned bus operator) do the MOTs for the council's fleet at 160 Corporation Road, Newport 01633 220044
This isn't listed on the Money Saving Expert MOT page yet is it?

Bournville MOT between Blaina and Abertillery. They only do tests, no repairs and are absolutely sound.

I've got mu 56 plate car booked into Kwik Fit at present - but I may cancel it & use these. Do you know if they charge for a re-test?
  • Any in Swansea or Carmarthenshire?

To answer my own question...West End garages in Llanelli town centre have offer on at moment. £29 for MOT plus no retest fee!

They are cheap at repairs too. I needed new spark plugs and leads for which Fiat quoted me £180 inc labour! West End did this, plus MOT plus a £70 part plus labour all in for £160 :)

Labour is £25/hour plus VAT according to their receipt.

  • I've just had my 56-plate car MOT'd at Kwik Fit in Newport - £35 if you book online.

    I'm sort of lost........:o

Is there an actual thread/forums for advice on cars, such as problems with cars, cambelt problems, etc etc?

    Thank you.;)
