Having tried Stockton-on-Tees council depot (listed under Lancashire for some reason) I have been told they do all the work to the local taxis so you need to book at least 2 weeks in advance. My friend has had her MOT done there and said they were excellent though.


Challenge 1: Debt free wedding:£383/£1672 22.91% Overall savings £7043(£1000 venue deposit paid) 45.96% to target
Challenge 2: Cinnys Amazon voucher challenge £105/£350 by 31/12/10
Challenge 3: Achieved! DFD 24/04/09 £16,456 cleared in 250 days-£65.82 a day!
Met NIM 23/06/2008 Engaged 23/08/2009 Wedding 03/09/2010

There's also South Shields, although I'm guessing Newcastle & Gateshead are more convenient for you.
