Been discussing this on HotUKdeals... not seen it on here:-

Had a letter about call price rises? looks like they are making price increases above the 'Retail Prices Index Figure'..naughty naughty

this allows u to get out of your existing contract and happened on T-Mobile the other year.

although of course if you are in a cashback deal ( many 3 users are) you may be worse off by cancelling if it means you don't get the cashback

  • Yes i read the T&C and it is clear now.

I agree with payless, and most people probably don't use all the 500 minutes, so would not be affected anyway.

    Hi

thats not the point is it?

People are within there rights to cancel - so they should work out if its worth it for them..then decide - best to know all the options.

    all the best

  • Well the fact that calls to your voice mail are not included in your minutes and the price id doubling i think its only right to cancel the contract.

So does it mean that I took a new contract out (less then a month), if I wait till I get first month cash back from e2save, i.e about £75. I cancel my contract with 3 because of change of price, does it mean I come out with a profit and keep the phone?

    t&c section 10:-

    (d) Within one month of a detrimental variation to
    your agreement.
You can end the agreement within one month of us
telling you about a variation to your agreement
(which includes your Price Plan) which is likely to be
of detriment to you. You must give written notice to
3 Customer Services within that month and your
agreement will finish at the end of the month,
    once we receive your notice.
(A Cancellation Fee will not be charged.)

  • I took out two contracts with e2save at the end of August and still havent received any money back from them. Can I cancel my contracts now and keep the phones? I have two 6630s one was for me one for my 16 year old son. As I havent received any cash back yet would it be better to wait or try to cancel now? Really confused - doesent take much!
