Need Orange Help... ask away
Options
Hi,
I have worked for Orange Retail for nearly a year now, selling Phones, Contracts, Upgrades as a Phone Trainer, so I can answer almost anything to do with Orange Services.
I also know a little in advance what deals are coming out the next month, so I should be able to post up, what the promotions are, so you maybe better to hold off til next months promotions rather than take a contract/upgrade at this months promotions.
So any questions, please ask away.. or PM me if you wish
Thanks

P.S. Was off work for a week, so thats why I didnt know the £100 Buyback hadnt ended.. just to clear up from the other post

do you know whether SPV m1500 free on talk 120 tariff?0
-
Sunii;
Your quick of the mark, as it has just been realised, but wont be free on 120. SPV's generally hold there value well, except the common C500 C550 and the coming soon C600, so would be best to give it till next month until you think about buying it.
As you know, phones will come down and with the intriduction of another SPV M5000 it could mean that they will reduce the 1500, as the two will be selling at similar times.0 -
Its time for me to renew my contract and i rang in the other day to give my notice hoping they would offer me something to stay with orange - however all i got was ok thats been arranged for you. My average bills are £35-40 and i'm on the off peak x net 1000 which is £25/month.Ive not missed a payment all year and have been with orange for 4 years. All i was offered was a latest handset for free (k750i etc). What did i do wrong?0

I also gave notice to cancel my 2 contracts a couple of weeks ago but was offered nothing! Same as above, all I got was "ok thats been arranged for you and a PAYG SIM card will be sent out in 25 days".
When I phoned to cancel my '3' contracts, it took 20 minutes and a million deals were thrown at me.
Wondering if there's a difference in commissions..........!0 -
Can you still downgrade orange tariff after 6 months without the retailler getting clawed back and thus the cashback being lost?I think....0

Kanjoose1 and gaahmad:
What you want to do is Dial 150, Option 4 and then Option 3, this will put you through to a department called Retentions, this is basically the department that deals with people threatening to leave/leaving; the people in there tend to be working for Orange fro a number of years and are pretty good.
What you want to say is you love the Orange network, and the customer services are great; but you also say that Existing Customers get the same deal as New Ones.
You'll probably know these adverts from cinema, papers etc; with the Chinese man. You want to be more quizzical, by saying well, since you treat them the same, a new customer will get 1000 X-Net Mins for £25 and a free K750i, as an existing customer am I not the same.
If one person says no, dont be disheartened, phone up later.. keep phoning, you will get through to someone on a good day that will give you what you want. They wont give you anything if you get irate at them, as they are only doing there job and cant do out with what the are allowed, i.e. how to keep etc.
They will see you as net worth; how much you are going to spend based on last years bill spend. But, remember to quote the new customer line.
Good luck, and PM me if you want me to try to see if I can do anything.0 -
Michaels: how did you purchase your phoen through etc, what cashback deal are you doing?
Give me some more info, as it depends greatly on how the cashback is given and by who.0 -
my brother owns small company with 8 phones spending about £2.700 year looking to upgrade to blue tooth models with free headsets, orange seem very laid back on letting the contract go, he has asked to upgrade the phones he has been a customer for 5 years with them and they are asking cash for the phones.... O2 etc will give free phones and headsets IE nokia 6230i so why cant orange compete.my bark is worse than my bite!!!!!!!!0

Terrierlady:
You need to get your brother to dial the Small Business Team on 345; as they are out with the scope of the procedure I told you above.
You need to provide Oraneg with figures, say Vodafone can do this for me, but I wiah to stay with you etc, also say you are hopefully taking on more staff when we expand, so will be increasing our spend with you.
When you go into a shop, we arent allowed to break rules for customers, but on the phone they can bend the rules to keep customers.
I would get your brother to keep ringing up and trying different people, as someone may give him a reason why.
Do you know what tarriff he is on?0 -
yes 1000 mins between them its an old contract, point above is fine only problem how many people will keep trying they are too busy running their businesses to do this.my bark is worse than my bite!!!!!!!!0
