i dont mean to sound stupid here but can i ask why you all go through a third party for a mobile when you could go directly to the vodafone or 3 themselves to get a similar deal?...work permit granted!0

This is because Vodafone or 3 will never match the lucrative offers made by these 3rd parties (don't ask me how they do it, coz I can never understand) ... For e.g e2Save is offering a Samsung D840 with 12 month free with 12 month contract. This means that you get the phone and free minutes for 12 month for free ... Now, no service provider will match this. For this reason many people goto these 3rd parties.
By experience now I know that good 3rd parties (like e2Save) also offer good deals but they are not as lucrative as ones offered by less reliable 3rd parties like Click Mobile etc. In the long run it's still better to go with e2Save as atleats the cashback is guaranteed.0 -
Click Mobile had an insurance policy for cashback at the time I took out my deals on 3. It cost about 30 pounds and meant that cashback would be guaranteed by Lloyds (of London) in the event the company went bust.
Of course I didn't take the policy out :-(
Anyone get the insurance and think it'll actually be honoured, or maybe just another scam to get 30 quid out of you!?!0 -
I too had taken a orange contract (panther55- £55 per month) from click mobile , Hounslow.
Now that the shop is closed, can anyone suggest me what to do?
Canceling the direct debit may not solve my problems as I will have to face credit problems in the future.
Is there any other way so as to downgrade or cancel my contract from Orange. If I can cancel then how can I convince orange to cancel it?
PLEASE ADVISE.
If anyone is planning to take some action please let me know as 6 of my friends had also taken the deal from Click mobile.0 -
I would call your network and be very polite. Explain to them that the only reason that you you took a line from Click was due to the cost effective offer you was supposed to receive,
Due to the circumstances is there anything they can do to reduce the line cost of your current contract? Explain that it would be very hard for you to pay the current line rental. If this doesnt work write a very polite letter to customer services. Be grateful to them for any help they can offer.0 -

Hi
I have been conned too by Click mobile. I have taken out two contracts from them with T-mobile. I have called up T-mobile to get my line rental or package changed, but they do not want to know and have said its got nothing to do with them if I have lost out.
Has any one else got a T-mobile contract from Click Mobile?
What is the best action to take in this case?0 -
I have two twelve months contracts with 3 and one eighteen months contract with Orange taken in June 07. I submitted the invoices within a week and was asked to contact in four weeks to find if the cheque was ready. I got a bit suspicious.
I phoned just before end of four weeks and was then told it is 28 working days and not four weeks so to call later! I called as asked and was told the cash back is delayed till September! When probed further, I was told that 'we are in the process of sending letters to our customers and to be patient'! I have sent several e-mails and reminders by post but it is now one and a half months and I have still not received any letter or communication from Click mobile. I should have received Cash Back in first week of August 07.0 -
I should have received my cash back in the first week of August 07 for two contracts with 3 network and one contract with Orange network. I have made numerous calls and all say is it is delayed and they are in the process of writting to customers to explain the situation and to be patient! How do they expect customers when they have hundreds and thousands at stake not knowing if they will get anything and when?
As suggested by many on this forum, I contacted the Consumer Direct on 020 8825 6888 and they have logged the details of my claim. When asked, I was told that yes, people should log their claims with them. I was also told that at the moment, the company is not under Administration and the Trading Standards Office are carrying out the investigation.0
