:j:j yay, got my refund confirmed!!

It actually came through yesterday evening but it was sent to my junk mail box! not sure why as all my other emails from hotelopia came to my inbox

i found my cheaper offer on find-rooms.com, its actually the one shown in Cumbrian Male's screenshot, the Barbizon Palace, its not free but working out much cheaper than some of the 1-2*places we looked at!

on find-rooms it showed it as Double/ Twin Standard, same as the easyjet site.

Good for you, wishiwasarichgirl! Don't know how cheap it is on the dates you booked, but on the dates I want, the difference between easyjet and find-rooms is only 100GBP, so after the refund effectively I will still have to pay about 350 for 3 nights stay........which I don't think is great..

Thanks Cumbrian, I have manged to do that as well, but as you have seen, the price they quote is different, and I wonder what easyjet will say about this cause I can't be quite convinced myself.....keep looking, keep looking.........have spent almost one hour everyday on this for the last whole week.........getting a bit frustrated now, but got to keep looking..........

I'm looking for 4 or 5 star in amsterdam at around 29/30th march, problem is best deal I found till now I still have to pay about 160-180 pounds for the stay.(3 nights) which I don't think is good enough (or maybe I'm too greedy??)

I'm checking online almost everyday now, also see the reserve a hotel online, they do have some freak low rates, but I'm a bit concerned as they are not member of ABTA which means it's possible that they are not "UK Bonded travel agency" as requested by below terms from the hotel safe 6 t&c.

"vii) easyJetHotels will not reimburse clients if the compared product is part of a package, is shown in a currency different to that quoted by easyJetHotels, if the competitor rate is not offered by a UK bonded travel agency and/or if the rate is offered on a branded hotel chain website."


But if you or anyone has used reserve a hotel online for claim before and succeeded then it's a great news to me!! Have u?

hi christal, mine cost around £180 for 1 room for 3 nites 5*B&B after the discount, which i thought was fair enough, couldn't find anything cheaper than that
