Morning all, :hello:
Can't sleep at the moment, so I thought I'd kick start this thread for the day.
Later this morning, I've got to go to the blood donor centre as they think that I may be a possible bone marrow match for someone. I need to have some further tests done, but I'm not really looking forward to acting like a pin cushion. Maybe I can ask for internet access to take my mind off things?

I went into the local town yesterday afternoon to get a couple of bits and pieces. I also had a parcel to post for ebay - when I got to the post office, they were queuing out the door. Quite literally 20 people in the queue and 2 people serving. Standing there in the heat (my car was reading 33 degrees C) was NOT my idea of fun!
I've got a couple more items ending on ebay today, then that'll be the end of my stint as a seller. I'm really getting into the selling lark though. May well have to search our cupboards again for something else to sell.
Anyway, I'll let you all carry on this thread.........................

'Morning everyone
Like you Vicky ... I can't sleep. At least I managed to get through to 4 am though ...
Fingers crossed for you at the blood donor centre, hope the tests are not too uncomfortable!
Another normal work day here. I'm still trying to think of ways in which I can earn a salary and be at home! Though I think I'd always be on the 'net reading the OS forum!
Tonight I'm going to try making some chutney (a first), so fingers crossed that I get it right
Have a lovely OS day everyone ...Enjoying an MSE OS life0 -

Morning
1st washload done and ready to put on line, another 2 to go. 20 Min Blitz been done, toilet cleaned.
Have to go up to the Warfarin clinic at 8am to get my bloods done. Hate needles  and need it done weekly. Had a bad blood clot in my right groin a few weeks back and they say that it could take up to 6-8months to fully disperse  So am on walfarin to thin my blood down for next 6-12 months. Apparently the lupus caused the thickening of the blood
OH & DD are coming with me as OH needs to push me in wheelchair. Already fed and watered them both. Not having a good today and really dont want to go out-but have too
Anyway, will update later.
Have a good day.

Morning...
OH set off for work at 7.10am this morning as it's the first day back for the Year 7 & 8 pupils and he's got a big job to do before the assembly at 9am. Didn't want to get up to see him out as I had a restless night (two different nightmares but both involved the windows on cars being smashed) but DD was up and bouncing so I had no choice. Bedrooms are tidy, bedding is turned back to let the beds air until later on when I'll make them properly so they're warm at bedtime. DD is fed and is now laying on the sofa with her summer quilt on her (I've put a winter one on her bed now as she's been cold during the night) complaining of having tummy ache
so I've told her she can have a lazy day (AKA stay in nightie on the sofa and watch TV ALL day while snuggled under the quilt) which means I can get on with the housework.
Plans for me today  I need to do wash the dishes, sort out the chicken stock thats sitting on the hob top and has been since Monday night (), hoover upstairs / stairs, clean bathroom and then tackle the livingroom. I'd really like to do some sewing today but OH has taken the extension lead into work with him  DD has asked me to make some chocolate cornflake cakes later so I need to add that as well. Oh well, another 19 minutes here and then I'll get on with things
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

Jazzed up the tomato pasta leftovers by putting cheese sauce on top - DD says it is the best pasta she has ever had! Nobody tell her it was really easy or she will never eat it again!"This site is addictive!"

Morning all. I have brought the car to the front of the house and stashed all DH's trumpets in it as they are normally cluttering up the hall. I'm just about to go and clean the kitchen and bathroom floors. I have finally managed to get on the banking website when it was working and have paid a few bills, now I just need to find my MOT certificate and go and pay my car tax
I'm not going to hoover before 3pm as the kids will only spill something just before the viewer arrives.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things
