Mr. P.
Primus Saver 2 (Planet Talk), or Just Dial Saver .Talk Talk have just bought OneTel who run JDS,and JDS customer service gets flak.So Primus might be your best bet.

Just thought I would share my experiences ...
I have Onetel as my line (rental) provider rather than the cheaper JustDial & Primus for the simple reason that they have forgotten to charge me line rental - keeping my fingers crossed they wont realise !
Checking rates lead me to the conclusion that a very simple solution is to have call18185 overide all my PEAK & MOBILE calls where they are consistently cheaper than Onetel and in general cheaper than call1899
Offpeak & weekends there really isnt much difference at all versus both the standard and leisure Onetel tariffs - I had to look at both Ontel tariffs since I will shortly be switching from the leisure tariff to the standard tariff ( as it stops being free after a year)
In particular in the past I have tended to make quite a few 0870 & 0845 calls and call18185 is cheaper at peak times but more expensive off peak & at weekends (apart from 0845 at weekends which is only 0.2p cheaper than Onetel & not worth worrying about)
However In future I will try to remember to use the saynoto0870 web site to avoid making non geographic calls0 -

If your line rental is with Onetel as you say they are not your CPS supplier. You can only CPS your calls if your line rental is with BT.0 -
sorry my mistake Im just getting my meaning of words mixed up I assume0

If you sign up for JustDial be aware that these idiots send your bank details over the (unsecure) internet when confirming your Direct Debit details. I complained to them and got a reply back spouting that they adhere to the Data Protection Rules.
I politely pointed out that they have breached them by sending my bank details all over the internet.
If you sign up tell them NOT to send you an email confirming your DD details.
They may be a joint venture between British Gas and OneTel but it seems that the operations are run by idiots in some third world country.
You have been warned!
If have already signed up and received your DD details by email I suggest you complain to them too.0 -
Question, really, but am very new to this.If Just Dial have all calls rerouted to them, what happens if I continue to use 1899, which I'm pleased with. Do I still get billed by 1899? JustDial would be useful for the free ev and w/e calls.0
