    Hi there

Yes you can mention about the other one the same time if you want to - if the mis selling reasons are the same, otherwise complete separately, remember to enclose both account numbers.

If the account is still open, you can if you want to request for a copy of the agreement, as it's not always the case if the account is no longer active, and as long as you know you had ppi, you can still continue with the reclaiming, without the need of the agreement.
They should send you a detailed written breakdown when this is resolved, or you ask for this.

    Good luck.

    Thanks Di,

This morning I sent off the questionnaire for 1 loan to Black Horse. I also sent a letter requesting details of the 1st loan together with a postal order for £10.

Sent off a letter to Halifax asking for a list of credit card charges for the last 6 years and also sent Halifax a SARS.

My life has been hell for the last 10 years with debt, I have now sorted myself out and have only an overdraft to deal with.

    Time for some payback!

    Thanks for your help.

    Hiya

I would put your complaint into a letter, and do not use the reclaim questionnaire in this case, because they will come back and state that it's not PPI. (which will only stall matters).

So what you need to do is write and tell them your not happy with the way a product was sold to you, with your reasons why and try to enclose any copies of paperwork you may have, which may help.

Have you any documentation in regards of this account?
If not you can request for the paperwork by sending a Subject Access Request (SAR), where they should enclose all details of this account by 40 calendar days, you enclose the one off payment of £10 cheque or postal order.

    SAR template letter below.

You need to make it clear that the arranger would only allow the mortgage if you accepted the cover and there was no full explanation of the policy, and nor did you know that you could have taken one out elsewhere, because of the arranger saying you will have to accept their own.
Do you mind confirming what bank/business this was please?

    Cheers.
thanks Di letter sent 2day we will just sit and wait but not confident i think lloyds are getting blood minded cash running out me thinks

    Hi there

Try finding out who the Chief Executive officer (CEO) of the business is, and maybe this will help.
    Or:
Contact your local MP, if you voted just recently, they should only be too willing to help you.

Keep at them and also well done.;)

Thanks Di, any idea who is the (CEO of HBOS) can't seem to find it when googled:o

I sent a claim to M & S on 20th April, which I sent next day delivery (and have checked that it was delivered on the 23rd April)
I have not had any acknowledgement. Is this usual as it is only 2 weeks. Anyone know their usual procedure of acknowledgement?

Fed up with Lloyds!!!! Phoned 2 weeks ago for an update on my mortgage ppi complaint, which they had told me earlier by letter that it was not being upheld but if I had any more information to forward it to them. Told me on the phone they had received this letter with new information, but on the phone for another update today I was told that they had not received this letter plus I found my old mortgage paperwork and sent this recorded delivery on 1/5/12( signed on 3/5/12) are now saying this hasn't arrived either. My 8 weeks were up on 16/4/12 and I'm getting fed up being messed about.

Give them a few more days to allow for the weekend and the bank holiday.

A quick question. I missed some payments on my halifax loan. Can I still claim ppi back?

If you were mis sold then yes you can, they will take any money you owe to the loan from any redress they may pay.

If the PPI payment was in with the loan monthly payment then the reason for mis sell ids Single Premium PPI, this is a loan of the PPI on top of the loan and paid back to term with interest.

    Do it over the phone.

Thanks!!!! I just feel that Lloyds are doing everything to put me off and just give up. I WON'T!!! The paperwork they sent me about my mortgage said " I was not obliged to take out mortgagesure ppi" this was the new paperwork from when I took a topup on my mortgage, but on my old paperwork it said" it was a condition of taking out the mortgage and it had to be Lloyds mortgagesure ppi"
