I have a project pukka pad and just head up the different sections with headings relevant to my plans e.g., re-doing the bathroom, garden plans, decorating dd's room, any project you have on the go really. Then as thoughts and ideas strike you pop them down in the pad, add details like cheapest price, best supplier or instructions on making something for yourself. I find this a great help to getting me organised.

((((Hugs)))) Anniestar - remember we are always here to talk to.

    Hello all
It is quite bright & sunny here at the mo :j (but very cold). Had an eventful few days with not feeling tto good & having what seems like laods of people coming to the house for various things. Friday had to wait for a delivery of dreaded inco pads ( but at least I don't have to buy anymore  ). Saturady had to wait for gas repairman as boiler sprang a leak. Sunday quiet although visited Mom in nursing home. Monday da new chair delivered that had been ordered in November (wonderful recliner taht makes you feel you are being hugged - as is so much more comfortable for me :o ). Then yesterday had to wait for a man to come to fit me with a community alarm so that if I fall or have any probs when I'm on my own all I need to do is pres the button on the pendant & someone will come thro on an intercom system. Today I am waiting for the first organic veg box that we have ordered. All this proves difficult because I have no short term memory & if I don't know who is at the door I won't answer it.
Anway :grouphug: to all that need it & hope you all have a good day.
Am going to try & make a drink now as I feel rather chilly.
Sorry for all the typos but laptop doesn't understand me!!!!!;)
Love to save & love a bargain

    hiya all

3rd day in a row i have managed to be up at 9am-am off long term sick (MS) so wanting to get some structure back into my life -im a nightaholic or insomniac whichever way you look at it-MS nurse writing to gp about starting me on something to help get me to sleep yippeeeeeeeeeee.im a nurse and do a small group thing at work for patients who cant sleep so i know and have tried all the tricks-nothing works so heres hoping that the new tablets which are really for my MS but sedative action is a side effect work

dlb i can sympathise with you about the fence when i was first married we had a neighbour built both a concrete garage and a wrought iron fence and we said she had taken some of out land she got a lawyers letter to us saying we were walking over her ground-as we were young at the time we didnt take things further-would go to town on it now.BTW we called her MRS MANGLE as she was so like the neighbours character at that time lol

aimee well done on the weight loss hope i will be saying the same when i restart my ww on return from holiday at the end of the month

hope all who have been under the weather are now starting to see the sunshine-no dont look outside for it as there isnt much about lol-our 10 day forecast is for snow-thank goodness i will be on holiday

    well today ive
    -cleaned kitchen
-paid off step sons car insurance-he missed a payment-oh how i wish he would keep track of all his money-and company policy is for all to be paid in full they wouldnt just let him pay 2 months to catch up
-worked out step sons finances on a week to week basis
-updated anti virus on eldest daughters laptop
-annoyed at youngest daughter(they are twins lol) as she knew i was doing the laptops and hers has a password and she didnt tell me what it is
-hung up first load of washing-tried a tip someone said on here yesterday of leaving it folded in basket for a hour and means less creases so less ironing seems less creased when i hung it up
-took out sausages, bacon and black pudding from freezer for dinner tonight

kids are all in for lunch-we call it janeys cafe in here at lunch time-there are 6 in today .so will have my lunch when they go and will prob have to get BM on the go again as im sure all bread will be gone

Afternoon everyone. I've only had chance to have a quick peek at the thread so far.

anniestar - big hugs and kisses.

dlb - I'm just on the edge of my seat waiting to find out what's happening with the fence

Kyle - I live in ross-shire (work in Inverness) and we had a little snow this morning (although I really would like to see more then maybe I'll not be able to get to work)

Its cold here but the sun is shining and the sky is blue. I was quite organised this morning and put a load of washing on when I got up. As it was a light load I gave it a short wash and it should be dry by the time I get home.

I have been looking on e-bay for valanced king size sheets. They are so expensive on there. Its cheaper to go to textile world.

I didn't get my coat onto e-bay as when dh sent me the photos I'd taken of it they were blurred. My dd says that I'm the only one who could take blurred photos with a digital. Anyway dh managed to get a lead for the camera so I'll have another go tonight.

Ah well better get back to what I'm paid to do.

  • Afternoon guys :j

Sat at work doing credit control  I feel such a fraud :o

I'm on day 3 of my "health living plan" and so far I've lost 5lbs :j :T :j So my willpower must be paying off - she says dreaming of eating a chip butty ;)

DD has Brownies tonight, so that's made her happy :D Tea for her will be sausages, pasta, broccoli and passata. Tea for DH is tuna steak, for me is salmon fillet both with lemon cous cous and roasted veg (courgette, red onoin and peppers).

Need to clean the bathroom tonight, have bought some more vinegar today so I've no excuse now :p

Hope everyone has a great day - sorry for not remebering everyone's news - so here's a collective :grouphug: for all of you.

    Take care!
