DLB, I am so angry at your neighbours & their up their @rse attitude.
md123, I passed my driving test......on my 10th attempt. I kid you not. I have been driving fir just under 2 years now. Don't ever give up. Ok its expensive but its a lot of money to waste if you don't carry on iyswimI had a few nightmare examiners & twice was going to complain but was told if I did then I couldn't rebook another test till the matter was sorted (& they obviously wouldn't change a fail to a pass) & it could take ages to get it investigated.
Grannybroon, I love home knitted stuff! My mother has just knitted my dd a jumper for xmas. Its so lovely! I want to learn to knit but I don't know anyone who lives close enough to me to teach me. I did used to knit as a child. I remember knitting squares for blankets for the 'Ethiopia' appeal in about 84/85.
I have been so organised just lately, I am proud of myselfI have stuck to my menu plans. In the last 3 days I have only spent £6.65 & that was on my prescription for my 'happy' pills.
I have also been giving the kitchen & bathroom a daily swish & swipe. Will make it easier on the w/e when I do the housework properly.
love to you all

I wish dbf was that well-trained... and he's 31 tomorrow!:rotfl:
Well, I just wanted to report back that I've done all my tasks for the day plus a few extra (more washing mainly). V chuffed with myself... can't stop looking at my clean cooker. How sad!
Anyway, off to bed now. Busy day tomorrow with dbf's birthday. Am doing an afternoon tea for some friends to celebrate and only have 10 cornflakes so far! Wish me luck...
New flat, new budget, new commitment to MSE!

md123 (or close to that after a couple!! of glasses of wine) - keep going. I failed my 1st test because of moving when someone was coming miles down the road - on my 2nd test I was about to start the 3 point turn when I spotted a car coming down the road so I stuck fast - only for the examiner to say "Miss H I think he's waiting for you.....nightmare. Then I hit the kerb... and was so convinced I'd failed I drove "normally" carving up lorry drivers etc inthe city centre - only to be told I'd passed...... There is no way you can tell:rolleyes:
Love the home knitting for babies and if anyone wants a cardi or matinee jacket - I'm on - love doing baby things after most of the stff I do now“the princess jumped from the tower & she learned that she could fly all along. she never needed those wings.”

Evening (well morning really) everyone,
Long day here, managed to get 2 loads done in the WM, tidied the whole flat, cleaned the bathroom, hoovered, cleaned the kitchen, prepped tea and aired the place all before leaving for work at 2.30!!!
Now just having a quick surf before bed. Busy day tomorrow, have to go to uni to get my dissertation tutor to sign a form saying I have done something in the last 6 months, write up a CV, annotate a bibliography (?!), take a load of unwanted clothes to the charity shop, take a big box of recycling to Tesco (my council doesn't 'do' recycling  ), clean the extractor fans and complete various other chores. Oh, and I'd better do some form of revision too as I have 3 exams next week
Off to bed now,
Sleep well xxx0
