Morning all, hope this finds you all wll, warm and happy. Wlcome newbies, get well soon to p-p and family. Kyle and twink just wantd to say that both your avatars are SO nice-they make me smile everytime. Aimee happy birthday to your nan she sounds fab, also well done on losing the weight.PenPen well done, you must be so proud.(tell him he is now a star of the internet!) dlb know EXACTLY where you are comming from-e had one of our fence panels kicked down last night(well kicked in its still stood up but split in 2 pieces) I am getting to the end of my tether with all of this. This morning after DH went to school I picked up 37 cig butts from my path(neither of us smoke),a half eaten peice of pizza and two plastic drink bottles. Its never ending.I think DH is having some kind of breakdown and this is pushing him closer to the edge.We have no close family in the area, no friends and this is just the final straw. DH has just started at a FANTASTIC school (maternity cover) but is really having a crisis of confidence. To se him teach you would never know there was a problem, everybody is delighted with him (he started in early December), the kids like him and yet he thinks he is !!!!!! and letting me(& everybody down)He had Meningitus almost 6 years to the day and was very seriously ill for some time(on a drip etc),then was developed ME, kept teaching throught the treatment but finally left teaching 4 years ago at hte end of the winter term(at Christmas). He had intensive treatment on a specialist programme and after 2 years(when we lived on my wages and our savings)returned to education 2years ago. He was employed as a subject support specialist moving betwen 4 schools in the LEA assisting with GCSE prp(he is a GCSE examminer). Last year he felt confident of his health enough to return to teaching and from Feb of 2006 started to do supply teaching. Bit dodgy financially but ok. In July he went for a full time job which they would not give him (despite wanting him to work there)and offered him a terms work. We were dissapointed but glad he had the work, anyway he started in Sep. Thank God he didn't get the job on a permanant basis. The school was totally out of control, he was given half of a portacabin to teach in (which he shared with the music teacher particularly the drum teacher!)He had no storage space so had to carry 5 large boxes(English teacher) into school every day. There is no official policy on scantions for bad behaviour and during his time at hte school he saw two children knocked out, a chair go through the window of a lab, a teacher be spat at and a story so serious it that made the front page of the evening paper. The school is closing in a couple of years and there seems to be a s*d it attitude from all concerned. This took a huge toll on DH. He developed something called gattus cirosus(??) a very unsightly skin complaint. His GP said its 100% stress related. Anyway,he decided to leave in Oct at half term and did general supply. He applied for and got this job and like I said its a WONDERFUL school, I just don't know if its too late for him.Hes not sleeping, and is SO unhappy. Even our home isn't a scantury due to the hatered our next door neighbours harbour for us. I am frightened for us, for our cats and because I'm pathetic, I'm too scared to complain. I worry that one day we will go to bed and not wake up, the thing is we have never had any rows with them. The teenage son has some very dodgy mates and seems to really hate us. The mum is always ok to my face but apparently also hates us. She has a big problem in that we own this house but as God is my judge we have never ever said anything about it. At the moment I can't even get my washing machine mended (even if I could afford it)as the floor in my kitchen has a number of large holes and is unsafe. I am scared to go out but hate to stay in great eh? I have just reailised just how long I have gone on-sorry didn't mean for this to happen just seemed to pour out. Thank you for being there. I'm really sorry to go on perhaps its that this morning has been so difficult. Thanks for listning. God bless you all. Have a nice day.Blind as you run...aware you were staring at the sun.
And when no hope was left inside on that starry starry night.

dlb - good for your OH, it doesnt matter that she is a 'private' tennant and you are 'council' - its your garden, and not hers!!!! I hope things will be sorted out soon xx0
-
What makes me so mad, is that the council put the mesh fence thing you can see in photo up in june as a temp saftey mesure to keep the kids away from the fence whilst they tried to sort it with the witch!!.
My kids playframe was inside the temp fence so all summer they havent been able to play on it.
The witch wouldnt reply to council or there legal dept, and has just been stalling.
My dh built this and the kids loved playing on it and they lost a whole summer on it cause of HER!! :mad:Proud to be DEBT FREE AT LAST0 -
I can agree, when you look at this mess day in - day out, its not very pleasant at all, especially when DLB is having parties in the garden then you have "the witch's" kids being nosey!
The fence on the left up-right is our other neighbours, the witch is having a dispute with her also, trying to claim 2ft of her land. Thats just so she can get her fat A5S round the side of her house - lol. Thats been on-goin now for nearly 3yrs, the polite neighbour wont budge, as she knows its her land, so the Witch put her fence up at the bottom, coming accross 2ft, which she shouldn't have anyway.
Its such a nightmare, and Ireally do feel for DLB, not only having to put up with the mess & hassle, but part of her garden has been fenced off to make it safe, blocking her kids play frame.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature.
