She may well be a private owner and you may well be a council tenant, but the law doesn't differentiate ;)

  • My above post sounds insensitive, but I didnt mean it like that:o ..sorry:o

Like Queenie said, you still have the same rights as someone private. Infact you may have more if the council owns the property or a HA:D

Try and keep calm (and OH)-remember you have done NOTHING wrong!

Hugs and keep your chin up.

  • dlb That's shocking!!!

I admire your restraint, I might have been tempted to egg and flour her as she left for work...

Perhaps you could complain to the Council's housing dept about it? Is it a shared fence? Or does it belong to either property?

(was just thinking that if its yours or shared, you need them to be aware in case there's come-back on you at any later stage)

    I'm so cross for you!!

  • Morning all

sorry not got time to read the thread!

I am so busy tues-fri with work.

    Got work soon.

I have had 2 no spend days! :D

I will have to spend today as I need more 'happy' pills from the gp. I cannot believe how much prescriptions cost tbh.

    breakfast- cereal

lunch - cheese sarnies & fruit

dinner - baked spud cheese & beans.

    snacks, fruit & veg.

I HAVE to go on a diet. I am the heaviest I have ever been :( I do not have a good relationship with food & either starve or binge. I am making a huge effort not to stress about it & just eat healithly, watch my portion sizes & cut out unhealthy snacks. Oh & go to the gym, I have membership (I don't pay for either!) & I don't go.

    Take care all

    :hello: Morning!

Just typed out a post and lost it! :wall:
Anyway ((((hugs)))) to Pennypincher and Mr Pennypincher - hope you feel better soon.

((((Hugs)))) also to dlb just stay calm and explain as calmly as you can the situation to the police. They are very used to dealing with this kind of dispute.

DD is home tonight for her doctors appointment so we should find out soon what to do about her allergic reactions to certain fruits. Very worrying though as her throat was closing up! and that was just from eating one cherry!

Twink - My dd and ds both had asthma and used inhalers, DS still does. DD has outgrown hers. DS was also undiagnosed for 7 years. They soon learn to cope with it. DS has worked out what he is allergic to and does his best to avoid it. (((Hugs)))

    Right off for another :coffee:

    Morning everyone

I'm still suffering with really sore throat and feeling tired all the time - so what's new. :( penninewoman's slowly getting over her Christmas heavy cold / flu. She arrived back at work to find the drains were blocked so all the students were sent home and eventually the Staff as well. But that's all sorted now so it's life as usual.

Today I'm waiting in for builder to arrive and hear what we want doing out at the front of the house - which is new paving, low wall building and new drainage channel.

Think I'll go make more honey and lemon - very OS.

    Here's a pic of B I G cat stretching and heat-bathing under the rad

    Have a good day all.

    Where now?
  • Good morning all.

Its cold, wet and windy in County Antrim. We had a half hour lie-in this morning and got the train to work. We usually do this once a week.

It's my mother's 78th birthday today. I will be collecting her this afternoon for dinner at our house.

Hope all OSers have a good day
    :)

Well i think she will find that she has no more rights over you just because you are a council tenant. She has trepassed if she has stood on your property and the law will reflect that.I would personally speak to your local community bobby/police officer because she needs telling.

Well i have the usual household duties as well as more paperwork tonight. :(
My biggest challenge at the moment is keeping my hyperactive 4 year old amused, but we will go to toddlers this morning and he has 4 plus in the afternoon. I would be rich if i could bottle his energy and sell it!He doesnt sleep well either. Last night i got to bed after 1am and had 5-6 hours of interrupted sleep. He does have a cough though so i will forgive him.
The washing machine is on and the dishwasher needs emptying.I need to sort out unused toys for the local charity shop but as my car is off the road i might have to free-cycle any stuff i bag up. Have a good day every-one. I will try to contribute to this thread daily, god willing. And not be a flash in the pan! Bye for now and hugs to those that need it.x
