Well it arrived, the milestone I wasnt looking forward to. So I decided to get my bottom into gear and make some changes. My house is full to the brim with stuff and I mean full. Very little of it means anything its just detritus gathered in 40 years of marriage.
My plan is to sell as much as humanly possible to buy a caravan for me and the family especially my autistic grandson who adores caravans.
So I have started and earlier in the year managed to gather £100. With lots of little things cropping up and a very low income as Hubbys carer this has gone up and down but now is set at £100.
In the next week I plan to clear a space and set up a photo area for all the things I plan to sell and put 5 things on at a time so Im not carrying tons to the post office.
Im also making Christmas themed gifts which a friend will sell in her shop for me. It doesn't make a massive amount but definitely helps.
I have a weeks respite starting next Sunday as Hubs is away so that's D day - no house work as no mess lol and will organise my meals ahead of time in true MSE fashion.

Well D day tomorrow, start the big clear out and prepare the stuff for the next round of selling. Just cooked tomorrows meals so I wont forget to eat. I have bags and boxes ready to organise piles of things for CS/selling/ posting/ giving away and a bit for the bin. Im going to spend a couple of hours with my grandson in the morning which will be lovely then down to work.Clearing the junk to travel light

Gosh don't do too much as you will get exhausted. Do a bit at a time. It's a really great feeling though when you declutter. I am loving it. I hope you have great weather today. We do here down south.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220

Quick update, I have been having a few health problems but normal service has been resumed now. Had a few good sales recently including a rather sweet one tonight. Contacted a crafter who specialises in vintage fabrics, five minutes later had a good sale on my lace which would have taken ages to mess about with on fleabay.
I am fed up with E bay tbh and am using Gumtree and facebook more. The specialist selling pages on FB are quite good and no fees.Clearing the junk to travel light

That's fab news about the lace. I don't sell online (I've tried and struggled to even give items away!) but I have been told that facebook marketplace is surprisingly good (and free!).
