Central to all was Mooloo's wish to cope with challenging circumstances and make her money stretch as much as possible. So cheap healthy cooking from scratch, moneysaving ways, navigating the benefits system and lots about sewing and make do and mend etc. A year ago or so there was dv. I started that one too.
I feel at home here and am fond of many of those who post. I'm aware a number of them face those health assessments on a regular basis. Internet searches bring up many more negative outcomes than positive . The reason for that is people are more likely to report bad outcomes than good ones. I think positive reports give hope to others while negative ones are scary and worsen the worry. That's just my opinion however.

More than happy for you to post here polly.

Brilliant news Polly re DD's PIP - I hope the ESA will go through smoothly.
Such a worrying time I agree - along with caring for our DS, the added stress of benefit claims is awful; I am always so relieved when it is done.
Mooloo - very glad to read you are all safe/sound. Hope your Mum is doing OK.
Forgot to say - Polly, brilliant to see your posts. I too always enjoy reading your very wise words.
Hope everyone is doing well and that the sun is shining where you are🌞👍🤗0 -
We are very lucky with the weather down here on the South coast. We are still getting temps in mid 20s, although it is starting to feel quite autumnal at times.

BTW I do have a thread on OS. It fluctuates from time to time due to the nature of the subject OS ways and Poor Health. Posters have come and gone over the years according to their cicumstances and a number are now coping with difficult times either as the ill person or carer. One person is both the very ill person and carer and has been off the radar for some time and I worry about her. She can't deal with pms so I think of her each evening when I light my lavender candle.
I was halfway through a post there when the laptop packed up at the beginning of the month.
For anyone interested there are loads of hints and tips near the start of the thread re cooking, cleaning , changing beds . shopping etc.
Anyway enough of my "issues"
Delurking to say I also like reading your updates while catching up on Mooloo's diary0 -
So sorry things aren't going well at home Mooloo. I know you'll be worried but there isn't much you can do from a distance. Try to make the most of the rest of your holiday, it's a much needed respite from trying to keep all the balls in the air. I hope your mum is enjoying her holiday and dgd is having some fun.
Thank you for the kind comments on here . I have been considering the comment yesterday. I would never wish to dominate someone elses thread . While Mooloo is ok with me posting I'll carry on. I'm aware it's an open forum and anyone can post but I would never do so if I thought the OP felt I shouldn't .
It's raining here but we're threatened with a heatwave in a few days.
Mooloo spoke yesterday of a little community on here and I think she's right.. I know I'd miss popping on here. There are some lovely posters on here and those who have specialised knowledge of the present situation for Mooloo and offer their advice willingly as they have in the past show that community spirit which is becoming rarer in these times when many just care about themselves .

Thinking of you. Sending (((hugs))) XI Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.
happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy0
