Invoice late payment penalty charge enforcement
Hi, I recently completed some work for a repeat client and sent in the invoice, which stated the terms for late payment fees and interest. They didn't pay on time (not first time late) so as well as daily reminders I sent an email saying the penalty was triggered and needed paying on top. They then paid the invoice but not…

Making Business Payment from Personal Account
I am waiting for a new card, but I have a payment due today, which can't be postponed. It's to the US, and I can't pay in another way. If I take the money out of my business account and pay it from my personal account, what's the best way to record this in my accounts? I am a limited company if that information is helpful.

Service charge dispute, ground floor shop in a residential building
Hi all I'm trying to find out if it's possible to dispute the service charges I'm paying my building's management company. The fees keep going up exponentially, and it's becoming unaffordable for me. I'm aware of the First-tier Tribunal system, but I think they only deal with residential properties if I'm not mistaken, so…

Crown/treasury takes your assets if you close company
I recently closed my company with £600 in the account. I was completely shocked to discover that the crown/treasury just took this money out of my business account and closed the bank account. There should be some kind of warning or communication to tell you they are going to do this.

On off payment, invoice needed?
I took some pictures for my son's clubs competition as a one off, not expecting any payment, but when I sent them the photos, they asked how much do I want? I said, I'm not sure, whatever you think they're worth; thinking nothing of it, untill they asked me to invoice them an amount. I'm shocked, and didn't expect anything…

Medical history shared in meeting. Is this a data breach?
Thanks in advance for your help. My husband is a sole trader providing services to a local council.
