Claero - where abouts are you? Well done with the shop. It's always hard to restrain from buying sometimes. I thought I was making progress today, then had to spend £90 on repairing my laptop...!
I'm in Peterborough, Nicki
Leicestershire isn't too far from me at all as I work just up the road in Stamford, next stop on the train is Oakham, Melton Mowbray, Leicester... Oh, sorry. Got the train stops on my morning train stuck in my head again
We'd actually bought more stuff than was on the list so it's a nice change.
And no spiders ran out of the reusable shopping bags this week! Joy! 0 -
Hey PenPin
Hang in there please. You do need to talk about how bad you are feeling healthwise and maybe the parents can help. You, DH and DD can't do this one alone. I was able to speak to my friend tonight and I do feel a lot better to unburden.
Love and hugs

One of my relatives lives near Stamford.
Hahaha, I have spiders making a web on the shelf where all the sugar jars are in the kitchen.
I'm going to try and make pitta bread tomorrow. I think I am just obsessively baking now I am not at uni.0 -

Howdy folks,
Bit late but never mind. I finished DGS curtains and now have cut out the tissue paper for the dress. DH didn't get home until midnight last night. I was sound asleep and up again at 3.30am. Again, I was sound asleep.
His pack up was in the fridge though. They are short staffed atm, new bloke starting next week. The farmers must get their grain. Plans today are going to Mass this morning, sewing, gardening and a bit of cooking. WM on now. The sky is so blue today.
Granny Got your PM. I forgive you.
No seriously, I had no idea. Glad you had a lovely visit with your friend.
Pooky It's nearly over for you now, but I hope you've had a lovely day.
 to the new posters.
Well off to read Page 1 of the thread.
<hugs> to everyone. Byeeeeeeeeeeeee Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia.

night all
Pen-pin - sorry you're feeling low at the moment and beemused - hugs to you too and GB and anyone else who needs one
welcome NickiM - waffling is what we do best
Bargain Rzl - a drink? a drink? - three or four or seven would be more in order methinks - have a nice time.
Dazi - how beauticious is that bubba - definitley a keeper - have a lovely time visiting
everything's getting a bit on top at the moment to the point that the silliest little things seem just too much. today's straw is that dd(11) has lost all but two of her school shirts and they are both filthy - there isn't enough to do a proper white load so I'm currently washing two shirts and a bra. didn't get in till 8pm so everything is behind and instead of going to bed i have to wait up for bread to bake and washing to finish - annoying but surely not enough to make me feel moderately tearful. i can only think that some of dd's hormones have escaped and I have accidentally ingested them.
my bike is going to bike hospital tomorrow for a service and a brake operation so I will be late for w*rk and then need to leave early to pick up dd from her dsis before 4.30. dd18 is going to visit a friend. she got a call from the friend's mum today to say that the friend had come home from college in a full bhurka (sp) and says that she's converted just like that. bit of a shock for the Mum as she's christian. Teenagers never cease to amaze me!
anyhoo 53 minutes of wash cycle to go - gone to fill the time with a long soak in the bathI'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080 -
Good evening:D
A very late post from me. Lunchclub was absolutely exhausting today! We were a helper down, and it took forever to clear up afterwards. I crawled home and have to say we've only had bits and pieces to eat tonight, I really couldn't face cooking a full meal again tonight:o
Grannybroon, I'm glad you had a good evening with your friend, just keep hold of all the joy you felt tonight when reminiscing:D Your memories will hold you up when you need them most. When the worst happens, draw on these, no one is gone who is loved and remembered:kisses3:
Glad you had a good birthday Pooky. Isn't it lovely when someone else cooks:D
PennyPincher, I'm glad you've decided to tell your parents about the state of your health.:T I know they throw money at you, but I'm positive they'd rather be supporting you through the hard days. Actual help and support, emotional or practical, will be better for you than expensive *treats*. I know I'd be devastated if any of my children kept a serious illness from me. ( even for the best of reasons)
I'm still having a rotten runny nose, coughing, and my throat relief was very short-lived:rolleyes: ( proof I suppose that it was the vino that did the trick yesterday:o ) Oh well, it will go in it's own sweet time, and at least I don't have to take medicine or anything.
Off to my bed soon, I was almost too tired to enjoy the football. ( notice I said almost....:rotfl: )

Dazi, forgot to say, what a beautiful baby. Good enough to eat..... isn't that awful, the way little lovelies like that, you just want to bite:rotfl:You never get a second chance to make a first impression.0 -

On the basis that JackieO said I should, whisky in hot milk it is;) ( Thanks, and I didn't even need to bribe you) So to reciprocate, Friday's G&T should be at least a double:cool:
