    Hi Guys!

I feel a little down today. Fed up with feeling pants all the time. I know my health may not get better but just abit low today.

WM has been on today, toilet cleaned and house is nice and tidy.

We had a lovely dinner of ham, salad and new pots.

I had a lady from the council come out today as I had to do my years accounts for my DP's and all was in order. They have asked if I need more help but have refused as OH helps me with most stuff. NIce to know the help id there if I need it though.

DD is having a pack up tomorrow as she has a rounders marathon tomorrow at lunch time against 9 other schools. They came 2nd 3 weeks ago, so lets hope they do just as well:j :j :j

Have realised today that we have just over 3 weeks till we go away. Mum and Dad are coming for the first few days and have decided to tell her how ill I am. I think I need their support ATM but cant expect it if they dont know the full details.

    Happy Birthday Pooky.

HJ-Hope you have a good time on holiday.

Twink-Thanks for my lovely card this morning and the recipe for the ginger cordial. OH is going to make it tomorrow:D

    Anyway...hugs to everyone.

    (((((hugs))))) Penny-Pincher

Had a busy day today. Was at work this morning, then took a half day holiday and went to the dentist (Ineed to have a tooth out in a couple of weeks :o ). Then I travelled into Oxford for an interview and test to see if I would be accepted in my course in September - and I passed :j

Just sat here now eating a jacket tattie with cheese and pepper (yummy).

Have been invited to a ball in a few weeks, so need to sort out a dress. Any ideas what style I should go for I'ma chunky monkey (size 16) with big boobies (So not strapless) Oh I wish I was a man and I could just take the tux out of the wardrobe

I'm looking after DD's friend tomorrow after work, so thought I'd do them HM pizza for tea. Then I'm going out for a work leaving do (all paid for ;) )

(((((hugs))))) also to GB and MrsMacawber and dear anniestar
Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )
Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)

Ooh, Leicestershire isn't so far from me, either. I'm just back from Tesco feeling pleased with myself for not spending oodles of money. It came to about £10 less than the OH and myself were expecting and it was refreshing to buy stuff I know I'm going to use, freeze and make again, and not just let languish in my cupboard until some urge makes me look at it and realise I can't do anything with it.

btw, happy birthday Pooky! (sorry I forgot earlier, I was a bit tired) *hugs*

Claero - where abouts are you? Well done with the shop. It's always hard to restrain from buying sometimes. I thought I was making progress today, then had to spend £90 on repairing my laptop...!

Well then, my friend been down and I feel totally belittled. We talked about me mostly and not her but we did touch on it! I feel rather guilty. She was supporting me rather than me her.

However, we talked about wonderful memories with our children (good and bad) going back 30 years, also gripes about our DHs when forging their careers and things different now! Also the so funny things that we did together! You don't want to know! How I wish we could recapture those years but aren't memories fantastic?
