Morning all
dd(11) and I are Not Talking again apparantly - makes for a very peaceful stress free morning I have to say. I suppose this is going to be more or less my life now for the next 5 years or so - sigh
no sign of N9aev - do you think he got dazzled by the bright lights of the big cityI'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080 -
Good morning everyone
Didn't read the rest of the thread yesterday but I gather that Granny Broon has had some bad news. ((((hugs))) to you.
Donny Gal DS said the exam was tough. He's glad its over as he is now finished with exams for the current school year. Thanks for asking. Well done on the extra £83 from the Co-op. I think mioliere had something similar yesterday. I'm sure she will put you straight if I'm wrong.
Essex-girl hope the pump makes a difference to your DS.
Betheebee glad you enjoyed your time with your DB.
dogrose it's pay day for me too! :j
redruby glad your DMum was given a diagnosis.
rchddap1 had to :rotfl: at your DD. She sounds a real character.
Chrisca how disappointing that you will have to wait a little longer to meet your new DGC.
(((hugs)))) to Smoky, Anniestar, Pen-Pin, Candygirl and parents, tired mum and anyone else I have inadvertently missed.
W**k today but feeling very disenchanted with it at the moment. Beginning to think that I really need a change as I feel that my boss is taking me for granted. Will take my time in making my mind up though as that would be a *MASSIVE* upheaval and I need to make sure I get it right.
DS's exam went OK. They reviewed the exam in his last lesson and based on the ones he knows he got right, the ones he knows he got wrong and taking 50% of the "maybes", he is 1 point away from an A. I would be delighted for him if he got a B or an A.
No idea what's for dinner tonight. Salad and fruit salad for lunch. Just had half a grapefruit for breakfast.
Hope Wednesday is wonderful for you. xx"Bad planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

Morning everyone, bit busy with work at the mo so I've not been old styling as much as I should.
Weather is lovely here, it was really hot yesterday.
Going to take a packed lunch today as bought a sandwich yesterday but got the cheapest egg one.;)
Going to fling something in the slow cooker as I'll be working tonight as well and don't want to have to think about tea.
Will try and catch up with everyone later.
Have a great oldstyley day and hugs to those who need them.DFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

Hi again - had to dash halfway through my earlier post because I heard a great big bang upstairs and thought DH had had an accident; he had tripped over his slippers (that will save me having to keep telling them he should put them out the way in case he trips over them!). No damage done, fortunately. I can't say the same for my DIL's Dad - he tripped in the garden and fell onto a bamboo cane holding up his runner beans - to say he is a lucky man is understating how serious it could have been. It just missed his eyeball by a fraction. He went straight to A&E and will need several more trips to a consultant to assess the damage but, fingers crossed, although it looks horrendous at the moment, the eye itself is not damaged. He now proudly shows everyone the bamboo cane which still has blood on it. A real trophy!
Beth - good to hear from you and I'm glad you're enjoying yourself there; you must be making such a difference to DB. (((Hugs))) to you all.
Jackie0 - roll on Friday!
Hester - glad you're feeling better now.
Rchdap - I haven't welcomed you back yet because I've been unwell and I've also been feeling sorry for myself for other reasons so, welcome back to you! (((Hugs))) to Lily, bless her.
RedRuby - glad you now know what is wrong with your Mum; it's so much better than just wondering, isn't it? At least she can be treated. (((Hugs))) to her.
Donny-Gal - from what I can gather the pay-out from the Co-op is definitely through using their 'Divi' card - it's a great bonus, though, especially when it comes out of the blue! Last year I had £39 in December; it was in separate vouchers but they let me use them in one transaction so it was a real saving at Christmas. You should get another pay-out in December! I also like the fact that it's not like a store 'loyalty' card because they don't target you with junk mail based on your shopping habits.
Chrisca - you are really having to be patient, aren't you? It surely won't be much longer!
TiredMum - that's the perfect attitude to have. You're a lovely Mum and, at the end of the day, that's the most important thing of all for your children.
Anyway, last night I really had a good night's sleep - the first one for ages; I still have lots of bookwork to do but, somehow, it doesn't seem so bad. Poor DH is still reeling from the shock of my outburst but it did us both good. So far, he has been a lot more organised although whether he can keep that up is another matter. He sails to France on Saturday to collect another friend from halfway down then they'll drive down to the south to help his DB with laying a patio round his swimming pool; I know I could have gone but I would rather go when he and I can spend time together on our own hovel there, which is very slowly being made habitable. We hope to go out at the end of August. While he's away I can get on with such a lot that has been neglected while I've been unwell.
Anyway, I'm definitely back to 'Mioliering' now! I'd better go and get on with the accounts. It's really not fair of me to moan about how long it's taking to do them when half the time I'm socialising on here!
See you all later.
