Not sure what else to say, but thanks. Loretta, I've noticed you've been thanking everyone that posts here, was wondering when you'd post again

You are in no way being pathetic- it is completely normal- you are going through a kind of grief- but on top of that confusion as nothing has had a final line drawn under it.
Please believe that you will not feel like this for long- and you will soon find a much better happiness if you resist the urge to take him back! If you take him back you may have a few more times of this to go through. (sorry if that sounds horrible but I speak from experience xxx)
Take care of yourself and find enjoyable things to do!

My god, I just found this again, sat here and read it all and had a little cry.
6 months down the line I'm living alone (but moving again in Feb to a flatshare) and I'm okay, funnily enough
I still miss him sometimes, but I think it's more that I miss the company rather than missing him. For months I kept texting him all the time and trying to see him, etc. I'm glad that he left now, because although there are a lot of things I still need to do to make me 'happy' I know that I would be so unhappy if I was still with him, I would still be putting up with the same stuff and feeling down all the time.
Thanks to everyone that replied on this thread (and my other one) at the time

Course you're alright, you're a great girl and next year will be better for you. hopefully it'll be easier for you when you're sharing a flat you won't be spending so much time on your own and you can always lie low in your own room when you need a little me time
Did you have a good Christmas....I did:Dcheerio hen0 -

I thought I was much more irrational than I actually was when we broke up! Maybe I just kept all the irrational stuff in my head
I had a really good Xmas, better than I was expecting

Whoo!!! You go girl!!!
See, you can do anything when you put your mind to it
Everything you have wrote is normal, it's like a grieving process. But just look at what you are about to do, start a brand New Year without anything or anyone holding you back!
Well done on believing in yourself and realising you were worth more than he could give you. I wish you every happiness in 2009 and all the other years that follow.
You really have made my day!
:happyhear We are not put on this earth for ourselves, but are placed here for each other.
If you are there always for others, then in time of need, someone will be there for you.
