Well not long after I posted on here this morning DS rang to say no, they weren't going to induce now as they are concerned about her previous Caesaren scar. Her contractions had quietened overnight and they were waiting for her consultant to see her today. That was just before 9am and I've not heard anything since. I know the hospital is very busy at the mo with babies being born left right and centre, but I am pacing up and down like a caged lion now!!! Will report back later if I hear anything.
oooh - how unbearable. Thinking of you waiting impatiently :cheesy:0 -
TIRED MUM - your children won't feel you have let them down; they can see what a good Mum you are. Please don't beat yourself up about what has happened. (((Hugs))) to you and I really hope things start looking up for you.
Lesley Gaye - I think you are so right about letting children have at least some idea that there are hard times as well as good. It wasn't until DS2 and his bride-to-be bought their own home that he realised how difficult it can be. Only recently he said 'I now know exactly what you meant when you said you couldn't afford to buy everything I asked for when I was a child'.
Shez - (((Hugs))) to you - I hope things are better with DH when he comes back from visiting his Dad's grave.
Well, I must get back to work - see you later.

My nextdoor neighbours (24yrs) are moving on friday, so they are busy sorting out. Everyone seems to be moving onwards and things are changing....makes you feel abit unsettled doesnt it?
Yeah, same here! Not me unfortunately, but nearby neighbours are on the move and loading up a van as I type. Shame! They were nice neighbours but things didn't work out for them here at all. Hopefully the next people will be a bit happier here.
I've got my nose to the grindstone again today looking for a job. It's a long slow and painful process I can tell you. I'm not regretting leaving my last job as the leads I've generated so far simply would not have materialised if I was still there. I will WILL WILL find a better job!!!!
You'd think my house would be nice and clean and tidy but it's still a tip. It's funny cos when I'm at work I'm always very tidy and everything is kept in its place. Maybe I've just let it get too far and it's too big a project to even think about right now. Flylady is the answer, but those damn email...never again!
Off to buy the local paper now. Be good everyone, especially you Twink and Shez. Churchie, hope you're feeling better than you were before.

Shez (((((((hugs)))))
Well went up to see my mum. Was ok. Had a slightly bizzare incident though. We always take our own water up with us as the tap in the cemetary isn't always working. Anyway, took a 2ltr bottle and 4 of the big milk containers. Mum is at the corner surrounded by trees and open fields ist very peaceful. However her headstone regularly has tree sap and "gifts" from the birds hence the vast ammount of water. Anyway had a carrier bag for leaves etc and was just about to wash down the headstone when I hear someone shouting stop that what do you think you arre doing? This woman comes storming up shouting about young vandals
(!!!!) Anyway she was fine when I explained what I was doing and then started to chat to me. I could have done without that to be honest but maybe she had lost someone recently or was lonley. I was also more than somewhat bemused to be called young by someone that was probably no more than 10 years older than me. Mum would have found it hysterical. Stayed for about 15 minutes they left accompanied by my "new best friend" Anyway off she went. We caame home. So visit was good but different. Still no word Post Mortem wise. Dont know what that means. Thankfully have no other expierence of them. Anyway, as ever thank you. Take care and have a good afternoon. Ann xxxx
Blind as you run...aware you were staring at the sun.

Hi all - Chrisca - I remember when my grandchildren were born and my DIL seemed to be in labour for ever! You must be so restless waiting all this time. Best of luck to your DS and, of course, DIL, (the one who is doing all the work!).
Rebob - welcome to you. So sorry that health problems have cost you your driving licence - it must be maddening when it's not your fault.
Annie - what a strange incident you had but I'm pretty sure your Mum would have enjoyed it. You may well have helped your 'new best friend' to have a happier day than if she hadn't met you.
Snowy Owl - good luck with the job hunting. You sound very determined.
Why do I keep coming back on here when I have work to do? Well, I'm calling it an official tea break, I've decided!
I had a nice surprise in the post - not the tax rebate that HMRC owe me but keep losing my forms to wriggle out of paying, but a letter containing 4 £20 off vouchers for the Co-op. I usually buy my food there because I don't like our nearest supermarket, Sainsbury's, since they revamped and made it non-user friendly; I use my 'divi' card each time and it earned me £39 off at Christmas and now a further £80 off now. We can use the vouchers all in one go if we want, so I shall save them up for Christmas and, with the next payout in December, I may not need to find any real cash for our food! That has made me really happy; DH thinks I'm mad but you OS'ers all understand, don't you? He'll be grateful when I don't have to spend any money at Christmas.
Well, back to the grindstone.

Well, the saga continues.
Contractions have stopped, just niggles now. She is 1cm dilated, had injections for baby's lungs and antibiotics and is waiting to see doc as to whether she is to stay in tonight or whether they will send her home. DS and DIL's mum stayed with her throughout the night. DS apparently slept for a few hours on a window sill in the ward, he would sleep on a clothese line that boy  This is worse than a soap opera
To be continued.............................0 -
Ohh, what a day.. To start by sleeping through your alarm clocks (yes, I need two to get up at 5:30am
) and then feeling as though I was on eggshells all day thanks to a bit of a situation at work = not fun. However, I get to have fun writing my shopping list tonight for tomorrow and I'll be heading off to do some gardening in a bit. The OH is out tonight so I get the place to myself. Think I'll start knitting a blanket for winter.
Ooh, sounds like quite the story, Chrisca. I hope all goes well. *hugs!*
(((big hugs all around))) I think I'm going to have a hot bath tonight. Mum's tomorrow night, which means I get to try and bring her to the ways of OS! She was quite interested when she came over on Saturday night, so here's hoping.0
