the weather is gorgeous this morning as soon as i`ve eaten breakfast i`m off out with the hounds before it gets too warm for them.
The washing is already on the line and the dw is emptied and some of the small jobs done so off to a good start. Better keep going really or i`ll be lazy & just stop:D

Hester - I hope you start feeling better soon.

Squishy is bound to have a great wedding day; my DS1 got married in a castle on Lake Garda last year and it will always be one of the best days of my life. The Italians know how to lay on the most romantic weddings and the setting is just made for love!

Dogrose - what talented children! You must be very proud. Congratulations to them and to you for bringing them up so well!

Well, DH has gone off to work but he's sure he has forgotten something so he'll be back! I have been nice to him this morning so he's out of danger- for now!

Anyway, I have loads to do before I even get down to doing the accounts again. I haven't hoovered or dusted since he started doing up the porch a few days ago and the whole downstairs is in dire need. I'm so glad I have a bit more energy today.

Hope the sun is shining on everyone today - it's lovely here.

Hello everybody,

Just doing bits and pieces today. Finished hemming XDIL's curtains & cut out DGS curtains to sew tomorrow. Tackled the ironing heap. Did the sea grass walk :rolleyes: and pottered around the garden for a little while. Weather has been lovely the last few days. Freezing mornings though. Got a cherry tomato, basil (both from the garden), & onion pie for tea followed by banana custard for dessert. I don't usually mention tea, but I'm starving atm.

MeanMarie Happy Birthday. Hope you've enjoyed the day and going to kick your heels up tonight. Have a lovely 18th too Miss Pink.

Sure that I have missed loads of you out. Sorry. I am still in bed with the wonderful lappy(and Phoebe who is very interedstd in the whole process) I slept quite a bit better last night which was a relief.
I rang my Aunt and Uncle in NZ last night was on for ages and it made me feel slightly better. It is awful buit at the moment I cannot pray. I try but honestly cant. I know thats bad. Still no news hopefully some today. I really dont know what to do. I feel I may go to mums gravejust feeh I should be "doing something" if you see what I mean. Anyway, as ever thank you for all your kind thoughts, love, PM's and prayers. They are keeping me going at the mo. You are wonderful. Have a wonderful day. Ann xxxxxx

Well, it's cloudy but alright. I've got a quiet morning before my looooooong shift this afternoon and tonight . Gonna have to make something for tea to take with me coz it's no fryer day at work which means there'll be no food coz everything is fried ( I take meals quite regularly ).

Well it's a beautiful morning, and I feel lousy My throat feels like a lump of raw meat, and I can hardly speak. (quieten down that applause over there:rotfl: ) My head's pounding too, so I don't see too much getting done here today. I'll have to go out to buy the veggies for the Lunchclub tomorrow. Just hope I feel better tomorrow for all the preparation etc. Well I'll have to, nobody else will do it if I don't:rolleyes:

The sun is shining at the moment here in North Kent and it looks like its going to be another nice day for a change. (Only four more to go to G&T day )
Just got out of the oncology last night at 6.45.p.m. when DD rang my mobile ."Don't bother cooking I've saved you some dinner Mum" she's a lovely lass my little 'un.
Went to their house on the way home and had some food whilst my DGS Mikey told me about the mean nurse who stuck pins in his arms. He had his pre-school jabs yesterday.Then he told me very indignantly that he had to go back again to have another one before he starts school. Calmed him down with the promise that I will buy him a nice backpack for his first day at school just like his brothers.
We shall miss him dreadfully when he goes full-time in September,especially my DD as she has had a little ankle-biter around her feet for the last 15 years.He is the last of her brood of five .Still we'll get used to it I suppose.
