    Morning everybody :hello:

Another flying visit - busy, sorry :o - so

((((hugs)))) to all in need especially anniestar, poppyoscar, smokybabe and Penny-Pincher!!
    Shez :hello: ;)
Pink, I hope you feel better soon - and a very happy 18th birthday to your DD :bdaycake:

Am reeeealllly looking forward to dinner this evening - I have the most chunky, delicious-looking Asda Extra Special rib-eye steak which I got yellow-stickered a few weeks ago and has been in the freezer. Having it pan-fried tonight with peas and Jersey Royals

Finally got a bit of time to myself this week after two weeks of pure social overkill - lots to do but at least I have time to do it!

    Anyway, back to work...

    Love Rzl xx

Edited to say: in my skim-reading I managed to miss tired mum's post... so sorry about your job, and the holiday :(Chrisca - best of luck to DIL. And Churchmouse - hope you are feeling better soon. I know I've still missed loads of people so... sorry :o

    morning all

another lovely sunny day here in Heathfield today. Have watered the greenhouse, picked myself a lovely bunch of sweet peas which are scenting the kitchen, done a Screwfix order, started the washing up and will do the paperwork (yawn) in a bit.

DD1 (the one with financial woes) arrived unexpectedly yesterday pm together with DH, DD and dog. They were out of the house because there was a viewing and they had decided to come over here to see what was available to rent. Not much is the answer, but they'll find something I'm sure. It will be lovely to have them just down the road, and it looks like that is what will happen (with any luck - fingers crossed) as the other options (ie Dubai) seem to have been dropped. They could go elsewhere of course once they are in rented, but I'm hoping that once they are settled, they won't want to. I feel selfish saying that and I wouldn't try and stop them, but I would miss them so much if they emigrated it would be vile.

tiredmum sorry to hear about your job, what a pain, and to have to cancel a holiday too. I hope something turns up for you soon

Poppyoscar manic depression runs in my family. My Dad had it and was on meds for a lot of my childhood. They stopped the mood swings, although he did do Mr Angry sometimes, and Mr Can't Stop Talking at other times. It's not always easy to live with. I think the advice to read up about it is sound.

mioliere - glad you feel better today, sometimes a stonking row clears the air. DH might appreciate your efforts more after that!

hugs to all who need them ((((((((hugs)))))))) I'm off to have a tidy up before I do some proper work

    Morning everyone.
    Lovely sunny day here.
    Happy birthday to all celebrating!!!
Got lots to do today, mainly clearing a huge pile of ebay items, want to get them all listed today if possible, we had a huge clear out at the weekend and i couldnt belive how much stuff we had to recycle, pass on ebay ect!!!!!
We are in the process of decorating ds1 and ds3 bedroom so its all abit upside down at the minute, and we are trying to turn the dinning room into a second small living room as we are sick of arguments over whos turn it is to watch the channel they want, whos on the games console ect, so have decided to have multiroom put in as a treat for xmas if we get the dinning room sorted by then!!!!LOL

Ds2 off on his residensal trip with school tommorw, cases pack hes only off for 2 nights but hes so excited. DD went on her first school trip yesterday and loved it.

Im really trying hard to cut back in any way i can, as we have had a new electricity meter put in and apparently the old one was set wrong, so the amount of money i have to put in each week has doubled!!! But at least British gas are not charging me for the money they have lost with the old metre as they say its there fault (crazychick should tell that to her supplier they are claiming her money back as same thing happened to her!!)

    Right of to start ebaying!!

Just popping back on to tell Churchmouse to take care - I hope you're not coming down with the horrid bug that has got me for the last three weeks. Try and take it easy until you feel better.

Jackie - what a lovely family you've got. It's going to be hard for your DD once her last one's at school after so many years of having children around all the time.

Anyway, I've swept the porch, made a salad and prepped the pots for dinner tonight, made a rice pudding ready to go into the oven when I get back from the shops. It's DH's favourite pudding - can you tell he's back in my good books again!

I've also dusted everywhere and will hoover before I go out. I've written out a list of how I can tackle the rest of the accounts; I have so many lists that i think I need to make a list of the lists! The washing is drying nicely on the line and I'm beginning to feel a bit more organised after an irritating weekend.

    Will call back in later.

    (((Hugs))) to all.

    Hi again

TIREDMUM sorry about your job and holiday.

Churchmouse hope you feel better soon.

    Dogrose what clever children.

Must be my day for finding bargains. My lovely neighbour told me on the way to school that there was second hand uniform going at the junior school DS is starting at in September. Managed to get a jumper and tracksuit top for £2 saving £23. Also managed to buy running shoes, shorts and a running top for £47 so very pleased.

THink I will make cheese and bacon quiche for tea.

    Off to study.

Annie - it seems you are meant to visit your Mum's grave today; I hope she helps you find some peace. Take care of yourself.

RedRuby - I can't believe you really look like that! It would be scary if Aussie gets most of her pictures right!

Well, I sat down here to get some 'proper' work done but I just had to come on here, didn't I? I've just got back from the shops; I needed some milk and the newspaper and I also popped into the new local charity shop and bought myself a Gap denim dress and a French Connection top (not with their horrid logo on it - I wouldn't wear that!). I did try on a lovely denim skirt but was far too ambitious thinking it would fit - it was a size 8; I couldn't get it off. It was SO tight and my hands are not strong these days; I had to ask the assistant for help and nearly lost my knickers in the process! I think they'll remember me in there now!

Oh well, back to reality - I must look as if I am doing some work when DH comes back for lunch after my tantrum yesterday!

    See you all later.
