If you are close to Lakeside they have tickets for there at least once a month and sometimes each week! I love it :D and you get to see the films before anyone else.

Thanks KP, im feeling a little bit better already, think im just tired... been thinking so much lately!!

just when you think everything is going wrong, you get a few things to cheer you up.. like the positive messages on here and the fact that my OH just received a free bottle of grand marnier from work and some fruit juice!! yay!!

Oh and my grans just called, shes made us her speciality... a big shepherds pie! going to pick that up later so thats tomorrow nights dinner sorted!!

I was feeling a bit down because some old friends are organising a night out and we just cant afford it.. why couldnt they do this when i didnt care about spending on the credit card!!

Hi KK. Glad you've had a few things to brighten you up tonight.

It wont be like this forever. Once you're settled into a routine you can budget for this sort of thing now and again. Maybe organise a nice meal indoors that night with a cheap bottle of plonk and a good film so that you dont feel like you're missing out. Can you invite friends round that cant afford to go too?

Well done on the NSD :D

Thanks for the encouraging words cc, well its my sister in law's bday at the end of the month and as the whole family are away on hols, shes got a big house to herself, shes going to have a bbq/party, theyve got a massive trampoline and pool in the garden so im really looking forward to that, also shes told us that we can invite as many ppl as we want!! as long as they bring a bottle... which is great cos now im trying to organise all my friends to have the "night out" there! hopefully they'll be up for it!

also, only got told yesterday that 3 of my sister in laws are coming for dinner tomorrow night!! and ive only got a cpl packs of mince in the freezer!! think ive fot some lasagne sheets so that will have to do!!

spoke to an old friend last night, shes coming to ours friday night for a few drinks and to watch glastonbury on the tv!! my other friend is popping in too so im really upbeat and on course... im so proud of myself for not spending!! :j

hope everyone has a great day, will post later x

Hi k, good on the NSD and you will be ok on payday, just be focused. Its my payday too and I felt the same! I too had a NSD today so pleased over that. Need to put petrol in tho tomorrow but can claim more back on expenses even though its usually a month before I get it back!

Your friends will always be there and if they are true friends they will understand why you are doing it too, plus homemade meals, tv and conversation is great and no debt the following day.

After nearly a week hun, you are doing really well so keep it up,we will make it!!!!
