Hello KK
I find my mood swings alot on this DFW journey. One minute it seems easy and another everything seems to conspire against you. The main thing is to keep trying and ride out the tougher times.
Well done on the sofa.:j0 -
morning kk*
Thats good news and all these little bits count! Hope you keep your buyer!
Dont let the positve levels drop - we all get tired - but you got me motivated to chin up!!!!!
Let us know how you got on!!

hey everyone, thanks for the comments, helps me when i know that others are interested!!
so far today, all went ahead as planned, unfortunately our buyer for the sofa pulled out but... we were sitting in the truck wondering what to do next and some random guy knocked on the window and asked if it was for sale!!
what a result!... it wasnt in the best condition but we got £60 for it which is brilliant!! :j :j :j
the first thought that came to mind was "great, lets go to the pub tonight"!!
nope... that is the OLD me! my Oh actually struggled to keep me on the straight and narrow!!
so instead of having a few drinks and no doubt a kebab on the way home and still waking up to the same debts tomorrow morning, we put £20 in petrol which should do OH for work next week, then we put £10 in the "toll pot" which OH uses for work everyday and then we went shopping and stocked right up on cleaning stuff, toiletries and store cupboard bits so now we are all set for the month ahead!
All we need to buy when we get paid is a few bits and bobs, so we should have more money to put on our debts next month, we are paying £300 off the inlaws bill so hopefully we can add another £50 to that now!
plus... gran came shopping with us and bought us, some olive oil, chicken, parma ham, butter, eggs and some veg!! another result!
the positivity is kicking in again now, going to just chill out tonight and watch a movie (got dvds with the plastic wrapping still on!)
sorry to bore everyone with my ramblings!
hope everyones good

Hi KK.
sounds like you've had a good couple of days :T
Staying in is the new going out dont you know haha. I stayed in lots when i was paying off my debt. It's surprising how many people are grateful for a night in with a few drinks, peanuts and a couple of board games. They can also turn into some of the best nights you've had. Friends are always willing to bring drinks with them. I used to have great nights for the price of some peanuts and crisps...and maybe some chocolate for my fountain.
Have a look on the freebies board for the "free stuff for your home" thread. It's a freebie box for when you move house although i did it after i'd moved and some people have done it without even moving... takes about a month but you get 4 loo rolls, kitchen towell, milk, cif spray etc and money off coupons. Worth a few quid.
Enjoy dinner today. and good luck for the week ahead.Last bet : 26th Oct 2006:j Debt free 25th Feb 2008:j Living "my" dream:T0 -

Hi kk*
Well I have done my 200' abseil this morning - and survived! Didnt cost a penny due to free parking and managing to raise minimum sponsorship. Cheap afternoon for me, I have chicken to cook which will double as lunches too and a run or a walk later - no costs involved!
Enjoy your day too!
Hows everybody else?

Thanks NM, im going to check out the OS board later, try and get some ideas for meal planning for the next month (think this is where im going to struggle!)
well done Tony, another no spend day... woohooo!
